So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

That does sound very nice. No WP vehicles, but the stormrage vets are kind of pricy to buy. 10 men at arms can be used or gotten rid of to taste, and you still got elves plus a neat LOKA figure. I'll be happy to get a couple of these, thanks for sharing

I'd have loved to get an MVP and Giant I could actually use in theme with my teams (Zzor & Teratons), but still - pretty cool

I got the Teraton MVP and a LOKA Earth Bishop, and 10 elves rather than 5. No complaints, even with the MaA thrown in. At a minimum I can use their spears for my 80's-era Citadel Elves.

Now showing The Fellowship of the Ring, along with some Dreadball Captains!

If anyone in the US gets that LOKA earth elemental and doesn't want it, I'd like to take it off your hands. I'd also like any Centaurs and air elementals as well. So please, send the PMs if you don't want those. Because I REALLY do. Also, want Enforcer MVPs from Dreadball. I don't expect to see many offers for those though...

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Honestly I wouldn't say no to seeing a zombie or ghoul sprue in either or both of my boxen, but I really do want to get a few elves so I can see them for myself. I shall have to see this earth elemental before I go making any promises

Man, good on Mantic, between this and Deadzone... I'm excited for christmas again! Usually I just get some games on steam or whatever, this is way more fun

The elves are much nicer than I thought. The details are razor sharp, and they'll be dead easy to paint up. Sadly, the sprue I got doesn't have the extra armor plates alluded to above, but they'll make a nifty SoBaH warband nonetheless.

I got an E-mail last night telling me mine was on the way. I shall report as soon as it arrives.

So is everyone seeing rebels from Deadzone or do we know if those are random as well?

They're only on the spearmen troop and command sprues. If you got the bowmen command sprue you should have cool extra bits like a dead elf, tiny panther cat, a horn, harp, swords, a dagger, weird martial art elf ninja double bladed weapon, bows, quivers, arrows in the ground, and I think even a defensive spike.

Well mine tuned up an hour ago. First impressions are quite good, the contants are virtually identical to Micky's. The only difference between his box and mine was that I got a Big Mech instead of a Nameless Spawn.

The is the first time I've seen the Elf Sprues and I'm rather impressed. They are much better then the photos make them out to be. Not sure about the Men at Arms. I'm going to try and stick some together later and see if the horror stories are true.

Part of me wonders if they are trying to use the bundles to get rid of some slow moving stock.

I think half the point of the Christmas bundles is to get rid of slow moving stock. Thats how everyone knew the Men at Arms would be in the box.

That being said, its still a good deal, and I'm happy to see Deadzone models made it in.

Almost certainly, but theres some good stuff in there too.

I would order one but the only thing I would want want is the Ogres and the rebs.

Thankfully it's also putting the excellent and underappreciated elf sprues into the hands of gamers who never would have gotten them otherwise

Got mine after the holidays.

1x Dozer
1x Anne-Marie Helder (DB MVP)
3x Ogre Warriors (KoW)
2x Marauder Grunts (Command sprue) (WP)
5x Stormrage Veterans (WP)
5x Elven Bowmen (KoW)
10x Basilean Men-at-Arms (KoW)
1x Rebs Yndij with Rifle (DZ)
1x Rebs Sorak with Blaster (DZ)
1x Centaur (LOKA)
1x Mantic Journal (a Kings of War issue)

Not too many surprises, but I ordered mine hoping it would follow the established pattern. I'm very happy about the Dozer figure, as it fits right in with my Deadzone teratons, no conversion required. In retrospect I got very lucky, as apart from the Nameless Spawn I am not very fond of the other Dreadball Giants.

I have to concur about the Elven Bowman sprue being good quality, also. Stylistically they're not my favorite, but the product is very well done. I'm actually thrilled that some of the figures would be very easy to use as Asterians, since the Elven armor could easily pass as exotic alien tech. (Not with the bows, of course.)

The Men at Arms are useless to me, but the swords they come with are symmetric, elegant, and simple enough to pass as future tech too. I might even swap out the flimsy sword Wrath comes with and put one of these on his back instead.

The Ogres, unlike the Men at Arms, look great. They're pure fantasy, but I might keep and paint them anyway.

All in all there are a number of figures in the box that I'm very happy with, and very few that I can't use at all, so the Christmas box was good value for me this time around. It was also an education in Mantic's past production (very well cast hard plastic Renedra elves, the infamous MaA, what Marauder Orx used to look like, Mantic Journal KOW fluff), which was interesting since I just discovered Mantic with Deadzone.

So anybody in the US going to start listing their trade HAVEs and WANTS from these bad boys now the dust has settled?

An interesting thought... I got two of what I assume most people got:
loka-green king/green knight
DB Big mech (score!)
DB Void Siren MVP (meh)
WP stormrage vets
WP orx command sprue
DZ yndij/sorak bag
KOW MaA x10
KOW Bow/sword elves x10
KOW 3 melee ogres

Think that's pretty standard? Gonna turn the ogres and MaA's into undead variants to add to my ever growing undead hordes of doooom (tm). The elves are too cool to give up, will probably paint them some day for fun. Ridiculously excited to have a couple of Big Mechs, the DZ bags are nice, and I'm all about more dwarfs. The orx will quietly drift into the bits box, and the Anne Marie's will either get converted or storaged.

Guess I didn't really end up with enough fat to trim/trade personally. How about the rest of you?

As you might guess from my handle, I'm US based, and I've actually traded my LOKA centaur already, as I'm trying to stay sci-fi and cut back on fantasy. (Can only really afford to do one or the other seriously.) I don't need much at the moment, but here's my list.

Items available for trade:

3x Ogre Melee Warriors (KoW)
2x Marauder Grunts (Command sprue) (WP)
10x Basilean Men-at-Arms (KoW)
10x KOW Elves (bow and swordsmen)

Wants:

Forge Father Steel Warriors
Forge Father canon (any variant)
Mantic zombies
Dreadball Forge Fathers
Nameless Spawn Dreadball MVP Giant

You'll not get my steel warriors! They've got some uhh, sort of embarrassing facets, but they're just too stumpy and grim and adwarfable to let go

Heck, I even ordered some bits from eBay to convert some of Mantic's fantasy dwarfs (clearance in a shop) into more forge fathers

US lower 48 deals only to keep mailing sane, please.
Deadzone rulebook from starter box available.

Will trade for:
Rebs faction starter (all models + cards)

As part of a Rebs trade if you also have some mercs you want to trade and you need DB Giants, I have all available except for Dozer.
