Thanks! Yeah, was pretty tricky trying to get the opposed lighting.

Quite proud of this guy, snagged first in category for the paint job. He's pretty huge, though, so zooming's probably in order. My blog post has a full-res shot of the beast, and dakka's gallery does, though you can't see it all at once there...

My weird White Speaker... still not sure if we'll be using the strange model as a survivor or it's just a prop since the rules are just for an event. (notes incl. a new settlement)

Fantastic work, I'm loving everything you are doing, both the monsters and adventurers AND the scantly clad women! I'm so impressed with the quality of the skin looks when there's so much of it to paint! The Holiday White Speaker for example, did you paint it like an usual skin tone and then you used glazing to make it look yellowish or did you start layering that skin tone from the very start?

Great look to your pieces! The 'lighting' seems to suit the game very much.

Thanks, all!

Draconic, I start with regular colors, then blend to dark and light, mixing the hues towards the extremes as I go. I'm working on getting a tutorial together, hope to be done with it maybe next week.

Thanks for the tutorial! That was a very interesting read and I found the effect amazing in the Malifaux' Enforcer and Judge. Amazing, thank you!

These models look great. I really like the KD models, wish I had more time to invest in some myself. I'll just have to live vicariously through your awesome models ^^

Draconic, thanks, yeah, I really liked working with the orange light/purple shadow.

mazik, hehe, fair 'nuff. The multipose kits take some work, but I find the monopose ones super rewarding to put the time in to.

A nice couple today, with usual notes.

Very nice! That antelope is just lovely, and the girl with the buster sword is really nicely put together. A very comfortable model. Which makes so little sense, but yea... natural I guess?

Hehe, yeah... was kind of weird figuring out what what looked like a natural pose other than resting it on its point or two-handing it.

Your painting definitely captures the horror aspect of the game. Lovely OSL and skin tones.
