I was at about 40/80 by the time I got bored and fethed it off though, and that was basically just from reading comics. I would presume that any busy reader would break 100 just off books and graphic novels alone.

Wait, how are you on the OT forum?

54 out of 200, you’ve definitely got some nerdy tendencies, but you’re not really a *true* geek quite yet. Aspire to geekiness, and a geek you shall become.

Meh, not sure I'd want many of those points. Heck it would be criminal to get higher than 290 simply because of the MLP options.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

Oh come on, who made this? I got 45/300 and a picture of the fething big bang theory >.>

Some of this just average people are into and not geeky at all, Blade runner is a awesome movie most people i know love and i watched from a young age because my Dad reviewed it. Same goes with "so bad its great" that's just common English where i'm from! Oh and "correcting people's grammar" yeah, i hate that when its done to me, but being in China i sort of have to do this a lot anyway :p

If I ever correct grammar, I'll joke about it while doing so. It's no biggie, but know it winds people up, correcting and being corrected.

I feel the same way, though that is probably one of the points on the list. I also reject the premise of measuring geek levels, but that is also probably a point on the list.

55, I thought less at first as I haven't had the time to buy and read comic books with schools( does wiking them count haha) and I thought it was going to be higher once they started really broadening it. Also not being good with computers killed my score

are you going to keep talking about it, or do something already?

Is not wanting to take a 300-question 'quiz' gunna cut into my geek score much? =/

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Well, your lack of obsessiveness, idleness, and curiosity probably counts against you. But your hipster-ish apathy might counteract that a little bit.
