I'm a fan of Tzeentch Daemons since they compliment my Thousand Sons. Which is why I have
2 Lords of Change,
Fateweaver
3 Heralds of Tzeentch
Exalted Flamer
9 Flamers
45 Horrors
9 Screamers
3 Daemon Princes
Soul Grinder
Burning Chariot

Little surprised Nurgle is doing worst seeing as he's the easiest god to make a decent Mono-god list around, both in Daemons and in Chaos Marines.

Not that I'm particularly interested in him myself, I'm looking into doing Daemons as my next army, and have to say I'm a Tzeentch fan. I figure that whilst Khorne isn't the optimum backup god, he is the one that appeals.

I did think Nurgle would do better, as he has both high toughness, lots of feel no pain, and access to the "touch of rust" that makes a lot of even his weaker units able to kill vehicles. This is a pretty nasty combination.

However, slow and purposeful means everything is ... well, slow. And people dont seem to like slow lol.

As a slightly on-topic question...

How would you get something from Nurgle into the fight? A slow and purposeful great unclean one would seem like it would get killed before it manages to get anywhere near an enemy.

Or is deepstriking the norm for things like that?

I though the slowness was mitigated by nurgle units having shrouded ?

Also you could throw some cheap units at the target to tie it up in assault till the Great Unclean One can get there. Also assuming daemons aren't limited to malefic daemonology for psychic powers, you can use that spell that warps units around the board.

Shrouded means they get decent cover saves all the time which is pretty cool (in my book). But people seem to be preferring the speed of the other daemons.

Although plague drones are jetbikes with shrouded, which is ... good? Fast and shrouded? Though I dont think shrouded helps with jink so its probably a waste
