The models look pretty good, haven't looked at the rules yet.

I agree that what are most likely the resin masters look REALLY good - but I'm not so sure how good production PVC (I think?) miniatures are going to look.

And I'm really interested in this one - but I just don't know...

I thought they had mentioned using the same material as Myth did for their figures.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Hmmm... while it works...OK...for Myth's somewhat 'cartoony' figures, I'm not so sure it will work as well here.

Funding in the past several days seems to have dropped dramatically, with a ton of people dropping out.

Shame really.

You're not kidding!

I hadn't noticed, but in the last 7 days, this campaign has lost around 75 backers and approximately $7K!

What the heck happened 7 days ago?!?

I think they released a video on the gameplay, and it was short and not that detailed. That on top of March being "The Month of Too Many Kickstarters" might play into it.

Personally I think that if they don't get funded, they should try and do a KS just for the mini's in resin or metal. That way they can get a decent amount of cash for people who just want the mini's in a decent material. I'm biased of course in that opinion, but it's a lot easier to sell a line of miniatures alone, especially with a set that already been designed and printed, than to try and sell a whole game.

Good idea.

19 people dropped today alone, down to 35k. Looks a bit dead in the water now.

Bad as it may sound, I think it'd be better to pull the plug and cancel the project. Cancelled is better than failed in my opinion. Come back stronger on a third attempt.

I don't know as long as it stays funded actually getting something out there would be preferable,

they can always expand in a subsequent KS and as long as they deliver nice stuff people will be more inclined to back

(and if after 3? attempts it does fail to fund maybe it's not a project the public wants)

It's no longer funded. Currently 88% funded and has been dropping for ~10 days. (as it happens I thought the funding goal was rather low, ergo risky if the project didn't fund by a large margin)

If the object is just to get the game to the table, how about offering a discounted core box over retail. That should cost a lot less than offering an exclusive expansion.

The explanation of the rules and communication appears to have been far better this time round. (So points from the 1st Project have been addressed)

Also backers have spoken about aspects they like, so these could be expanded on by add ons unlocked as stretch goals (Some projects have a nice pattern of unlocking a freebie then an add on which seems to work well)

To me the pull of this project was the good looking masters, the game board and the historical miniatures. I don't think I was the only person disappointed to be missing out on Leonardo and The Pope.

Ooo.. NPC AI!

My guess is that this game hasn't been publicized enough (no boardgame reviews on BGG) and some other company outcompetes them at each aspect of the game.
