I understand now, you cut up a comb in two pieces and rub them up and down on your greenstuff presumably with a bit of wire through it until you
get the desired effect.

my guitar wire arrived!!
i managed to get 12 wires in total for £5, only 10 are usable though because 2 where just bits of wire.i found wrapping it around a pencil first and then putting it in a small clamp and slowly apply pressure works well because it gives you nicer, sharper curves than just wrapping around the pencil does.

those cables i bought have only just arrived, its been several months since i ordered them and i thought they were just not going to Come.

It's not "guitar wire". They are STRINGS, they're called guitar STRINGS.

They MAY be made from WIRE, but they are called "STRINGS". Even the nylon crappy ones are strings. The two thin ones are generally NOT wound as a rule and are usually just "wire" (but are still called "strings".). Sounds like you got a 12-string set (for a 12-stringed guitar).

ok, i do know they are called strings in music but seeing as i was talking about it in a modeling sense i thought i would call them wires not strings

Nope, what purpose they are used for outside of their intended one doesn't change what they are called.

look, i dont want to argue,i know what iy is called,it was just what i felt like doing because it made it clearer for myself and i think everybody who commented new what i was talking about. i did not intend it for people to take that literally, i hope this clears things up
