You need 2 hemlock to have an OK chance of taking out a none jinking flyrant. You need 3-4 to take out a jinking flyrant. A flyrant has a reasonable chance of taking out a jinking hemlock in one turn. Advantage flyrant.

If a player brings 3 hemlocks there is no guarantee that they'll get more than 1 off reserve T2, they risk getting piece mealed by any flyrant spam list.

I've had 3 test games with Tyranids vs Eldar (for my tactica) - 1 game vs bike-spam and 2 games vs the Seer Council. IMO, those Eldar lists were much tougher than the list that the OP used here. FMC-spam bugs can hold their own against Eldar. 2 out of the 3 games were really close and 1 was not as close. Eldar won 2 to 1, with both of the victories going to an Invisible, Fortuned Seer Council.

Can you share the lists jy2? I'd like to test against better ones if possible. I'll have to tweak them if they aren't legal for the common tournament rules, but any suggestion would be welcome.

Tested against a similar Biker Spam list, which was interesting. The Council list isn't viable in my meta, but I can use a warhost to get something kinda similar, but worse.

Then just run those Crimson Hunters as part of the normal CAD. You can even drop the Exarch for 2x3 more scatterbikes.

I think double cad to max on farseers plus harlequin bikes is stronger.

The Seer Council's ability to pull off Invis and Fortune on 3+ rolls with few dice is impressive.
