Loved seeing someone else play 2 Wraithknights with Shimmershield/Sword combo, they're so good.
I play a Wraith Host army currently, and reading about your Daemon story I wonder if I would've been able to beat that. Daemons and the penta Tyrant lists are the only things that make me worried, though D with that lucky 6 renders 2++ rerollables moot. We'll see, I haven't played against one yet.
If you draw flying circus lists in a KP mission, you'll be in trouble. If you face them in an Objective mission, then the game is to survive. I play my Wraith Knights, whether I take 1 or 2 (local tournament is allowing 5 Imperial Knights, so yeah, I'm taking 2 Wraith Knights to it), with the Ghost Glaive and Scatter Shield. They're not much help against flyers. Played against a Harridan last week (won) and found it funny that its head is at my Wraith Knight's chest level. Felt like I should be able to just decapitate it as it flies by....

I prefer written batreps which you can do. Video reports are EZ mode too.

Latest battle report (spoiler: I lose):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJsClvsbiIo
Lessons learned:
1) Distortion Cannons are worth the 75 points; they shape the battle field and command respect
2) The way I play, Autarchs are superior to Farseers in my lists. I will be leaving the Craftworld Warhost at home and going back to CaD+Formation
3) When facing Drop-Grav, my units have to be deployed so that the grav will be exposed to credible threats (tit for tat)
4) A lucky Culexis is a terrifying thing
The only other thing I've lost to recently is what I'm calling, 'The Firm': Bel'akor, Fateweaver, a D-Thirster, and a Grimoire-toting Junior VP, in a Relic mission (still hate the relic). Hint: The D-Thirster is invisible for the entire game.
Cheers!

Nice, thanks for sharing sir, it is definitely more of a learning experience when you lose haha.
In terms of screening with the guardians, against that list the risk would be that he would just drop ironclads first, and flame them all off the board. When does he declare who is coming in first turn vs. second?
Agreed that in this kind of list you might want to switch out the Spiritseer for an Autarch -- has the spiritseer done anything useful recently? Typically I don't reserve hawks or spiders so it has never been an issue, but when you do, Autarchs are clutch.
Look forward to seeing some reps, hopefully with autarchs and d-cannons this time!

Space Marine players, among other things, enjoy the advantage of not needing to declare which pods are coming in first. So, not only can they null-deploy, they can counter their opponents' deployment by dropping a different set of pods.
You won't see the list I played in these last three reports again (probably ever). I've gone back to the tried and true CaD + Formation for the next few weeks. Been playing my Cloudstrike & Webstrike list (Fire Dragons and Scythe Guard w/ a Webway Portal, respectively) lately and getting very good results (only one loss in 8 or 9 games). Zero-Scatter Deep Strike is very strong, as is choosing exactly where 2/3 of my army will be when it comes in (not to mention bringing in/keeping off 4 units--3 Falcons, 6 Fire Dragons, 6 Dire Avengers, 5 Kabalite and my Autarch, to be precise--with a single roll for the Cloudstrike). And while I sometimes miss auto-running 6", Fire Dragons, Warp Spiders and War Walkers are Fleet, so it only hurts once in a while.
Thanks for watching!

Yeah deamon and nid Flying Circus lists are a tough matchup I would think, not sure what I would against them really.
6'ing out an FMC is useful, but such a long shot as to be worthless, unless you get a skyfire nexus and can put reliable hits through perhaps. Even then, with ITC rules you'll only do 3 wounds, so if they have more you would need to do it twice.. Good luck against 3 or more FMCs!
How do you run your wraithhost Quintinus? I've seen them around and have some ideas, but never actually on the tabletop.
Also regarding the dearth of Eldar commentary, it is true, but I also am not at all interested in scatpack, d-slap, or wraithknight commentary either, so until more people pick up the Footdar torch or start mixing up their lists like Mr D here, that's cool.
Cheers
