What a sculpt! I love the motion and weight in his cloak. I can almost hear him making the dreaded battle cry of the WMMMGHH! through his gas mask.
My one critique would be on the belt, which I think would benefit from some more texture. With a nice paintjob like you've done on Snikrot and the others, though, that shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks, I'm planning to do a load more work on him this evening which will hopefully involve getting some paint on him. I haven't a lot of experience yet in sculpting, mostly just: gap filling, the odd Cape, and the little I have done on my warlord so far; so am kinda learning as i go. will see what I can do about his belt and I want to put some sort of groin armour on him like the krieg grenadiers have but a silly ork version like the rest of him.

Helloo there internet peoples,

I have done some more work on my Blood Axe Warboss Kernel Krogg did a lot of smoothing out to some bits and adding texture to other bits, and also got some paint on him...

Then realised I had forgotten to sculpt a couple bits so there is now some more grey modelling putty on him. this shall be sorted tomorrow evening.

anywho that is all for now, I have a load of pictures to take of the group of other Orky things I have been working on but unfortunately that will have to wait for another evening.

Good evening internet peoples,

spent this evening putting some paint on Da Kernel, he's not quite done yet but getting there, definitely think the belt on his coat needs something extra.

But really happy with the rest so far just needs some final highlights and touching up the base and metal.

anywho that's all for now.

I've decided I am going to resurrect my P&M thread, I've continued work on my Orks over the last few years but life has gotten in the way a bit. The Deff Korps ov Krog are complete and I have a snakebite and a bad moon force also done, named Gurst's Braves and Logrokk's Dakka Gits respectively, there will be photos to follow because of course, it didn't happen if there are no pics.

This thread is awesome! I'm super excited to see the WAAAGHH make a come-back

Thanks loads, I hadn't realized, if you search Waaagh! Garaghak (an actual GW character, not a creation of my own https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Waaagh!_Garaghak) on google you get a load of image results of my stuff which is really weird. Next on my project list is fleshing out my Bad Moonz and adding some FreeBootas (with the obligatory pirate ship battlewagon) to play with Kaptin Badrukk. I have a narrative tournament in 5 weeks and I have to complete 1750pts before then. I have a load of shoota boyz already painted, so of course, I ain't usin' 'em, I need as much motivation to get my mountain of plastic crack painted as possible as my other half is getting annoyed by the way it is monopolizing real-estate in the back bedroom

I'm gonna take:
Big Mek w/ shokk attack gun
Mega Armour Warboss w/ combi skorcha and da gobshot blundabuss
Big Mek w/ kustom force field
Kaptain Badrukk
10 shoota boyz w/ 2 choppa wielding nob in a trukk
53 Grots over 5 squads
10 Flash Gitz
6 Rokkit wielding killa kanz
A heavily converted Morkanaught
the aforementioned battleship/wagon
and a smattering of got oilers and ammo runts

wish me luck... seriously I promise those pictures will follow

Some lovely work in here. Nicely done!

A Squeaky Waaagh!!

Camkhieri: "And another very cool thing, my phones predictive text actually gave me chicken as an option after typing robot, how cool is that."'

Meercat: "All eyes turned to the horizon and beheld, in lonely and menacing grandeur, the silhouette of a single Grot robot chicken; a portent of evil days to come."

OK been a wee bit distracted from this blog for the past 18 months, I wonder what could have caused that?

Anywho, hopefully we will be seeing the end of the 'Rona tunnel in the months ahead I'm going to get back to keeping this up.

Much has been done with Waaagh! Garaghak in the intervening months, including the completion of Garaghak himself (I know pics or it didn't happen, there will be some to follow)

Set up of a little painting commission thing to fund my plastic crack addiction too (shameless self promotion: https://www.instagram.com/derpfish_painting ) ; had loads of fun painting the steam forged games, epic encounters dragon, hydra and frost giant for a friend. It also allowed me to buy paint for this project and just edged me into the black after a couple months of unemployment following a pandemic related redundancy.

Well enough of the adulting and back to toy soldiers, recently acquired a better camera, I've got a light box and immediately found it to be inadequate as I had a lovely 2 weeks over winter off during my redundancy consultation period building and painting a heavily modified Stompa for Mekboss Buzzgob to ride.

Gonna try to get ahead of the upcoming Ork codex release uploading some army photos of the finished klans and maybe even get a battle report or two put on here, to show off my finished stuff.

See you all soon with some photos.
