Just watched Stalingrad (the 2013 one about Russians rather than the 2014 one about Germans. I want to see that but it's only readily available in badly dubbed English, I'd prefer subtitles on foreign films), and it leaves me very conflicted. I
should love it, the acting was good, the writing was mostly fine, the visuals were bang on (apart from a rather ridiculous overuse of slo-mo and some questionable fighting moves), but there's just two points that soured the experience of what was otherwise a fantastic film.
