I think Spiral Arm Studios has fallen victim to one of the classic blunders. We all know about land wars in Asia and Sicilians and contests involving mortality. But the lesser known blunder of points costs in a wargame?! This is 2015, wargames don't need points costs, fellas.
<Camera cuts to GW cackling maniacally. Abrupt silence. GW falls over dead.>
The unit cards look great, guys. My resistance to purchasing a complete boxed set weakens a little more every day.

I've already submitted my pledge; and I have a few questions I'm hoping you can answer Lego.
I pledged for a box (which comes with 1 terrain sprue, correct?) and 2 additional terrain sprues.
According the the latest KS update, terrain sprue shipping is going to start soon, so does this mean that I'd be getting 3 terrain sprues in advance of the boxed game, or just the two additional ones with the third being shipped with the box?
Another quick question; I've finalised my pledge with the terrain stuff, and as much as I wanted to add a load more stuff like more mechs and contractors I can't afford to pay any extra at the moment because of real life bills and stuff
I know retail sale of individual unit boxes is a long way away, but would you be selling individual unit sprues after kickstarter fulfilment is complete or am I going to have to wait? The box will keep me going, but I'd like to be able to add to it when I can afford to.

Same boat as Tibbsy here, even have the same purchases!
I'm planning to use a mix of marines, scouts, imp bits and Tau (and probably some Pig Iron parts) as extras until general release!... Long live 40k!

Thanks
The terrain sprues shipping soon will exclude those in the box set - only those purchased extra will be shipped in the coming weeks as the price for them included individual shipping for them (whereas the one in the box set is only covered by the shipping cost of the set as a whole).
At any time between now and soon before final shipping, you can go to the pledge manager and add additional sprues in additional orders. Just visit https://www.maelstromsedge.com/medge/pledgemanager.jsp to do so. There is no minimum order either, so you are quite free to just order one $6 shadow walker if you are so inclined.
The intention is to offer loose sprues (at a slightly higher price) after the kickstarter has shipped, but there will be an unknown delay as we get our online store infrastructure and logistics up to the quality we need, along with it being over the Xmas period when logistics firms are closed.
Final retail box sets of additional units are still a ways away as we need to get boxes and box art created for them all, which is naturally a low priority while we focus on the kickstarter delivery and main box as a whole first. The best estimate right now is spring-ish, sometime in Q2 2016 for retail box sets of individual units.
Thanks for the interest and support!

Thanks SAS, hopefully I'll be able to afford some more before shipping finishes but if not then not a huge problem I suppose.
I like the cards, I've just noticed though that the Karist Shadow Walker seems to have the same background description as that of the Karist Troopers.
You might want to have a look at that before you print any

I did read that the box comes with two 120ish point armies and that the "standard" game size is going to be 150ish. I also see that we have unit cards and points values now, allowing us to build lists.
Any chance we could get a couple of sample lists? I'm thinking something along the lines of when you walk into a bookstore and see the employee picks set up on a little display. My concern is that I don't want to fall into the trap of saying "OMG, that model is awesome", but then not get the other unit I really need to support it.
Something as simple as...
"Like Robots? Check out this sample list. To get here from the Core Set, you just need to add X, Y and Z to your pledge!"

Sample lists will probably be done in a couple of weeks time - we are completely backlogged finalising the rules for print at the moment and dont want to take any rules talent off that for the moment, and likewise dont want to put up sub-standard lists that have not had a huge amount of thought put into them. On top of that, lists will obviously suit individual playing styles, so need additional descriptive tactical text to be written as well.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

I was in on the KS but had to drop out for various reasons.
I am thinking about getting back on board with the starter so ordered the rules. I look forward to going through them.
Assuming they hook me then I will jump on board.
I must say, I am a little surprised to have only found out about the pledge manager from the KS page and not from any news pages (BoLS or Beasts of War).

Thanks LostEgg, it will be great to have you back
We are not pushing the pledge manager too hard just yet as we want to make sure it is all working as we do our first bouts of shipping over the next few days. Once everything is functioning nicely, we'll start promoting a bit more!

Although I don't have any pics to share at the minute, I am working on a (very basic) small shuttle craft using the terrian sprue for some details. Give the two factions something to fight over.
