His gravestone has been in the opening for some time now I believe. He still occasionally dies, but Stone and Parker have grown tired of the Kenny dies jokes so he doesn't get killed as often as he used to be.
Breotan wrote: Is Kenny alive or dead? I mean he's in the episodes but isn't being killed and during the opening credits you see his gravestone.
Spoiler:
Kenny still dies from time to time, but not very often anymore. In The [see forum posting rules]/Cthulu 3 parter, apparently Kenny is immortal and is rebirthed with every death because his parents would go to cult meetings for the free beer and were experimented on.

Oh wow I forgot that. Still pretty fun.
From whom are unforgiven we bring the mercy of war.
That episode might have been my favorite this season. It's going to be hard to wait 2 weeks for the followup.

How does that break Dakka Rules?
C - o - o - n Is a racist term.
Sorry mod staff. But he had to know. Racoon is fine. I believe. But [see forum posting rules] is bad, it is a very dead insult but it is still insulting.
Anyway yes south park has been great, I love it!

Its funny. My conservative friends are saying that "South Park is finally taking down liberals like they deserve" Not realizing that
1: The first episode is a massive joke about trump
2: That Parker and Stone are liberals.
3: They are making fun of faux social concious people who are massive hypocrites.
Parker and Stone are self described Libertarians, and that certainly shows in South Park. The thing is that they're not above mocking the Conservative side of the isle when it's being patently silly.
And yes. I've seen a lot of comments about how this season is "tearing the liberals apart" when probably half the air time of the season has been stabbing conservative politics just as hard. The entire 'Safe Space' joke is a pendulum that swings both ways. Superficial/empty tolerance (PC Principal) is being lambasted at the same time as outright assholery/intolerance (Mr. Garrison), and Randy gets to be the season butt monkey for being the text book idea of sheeple (yet again).
I feel like Kyle is going to give one hell of a speech in the finale

I think it will go down the lines of "If your offended don't silence others, and don't force your opinion down peoples throats."
I wonder if they will go into Tokenism (Put in a mixed race person into a movie/game just because they are doing it for 'equality' IE pressured)

1. The First Episode is a PC Lampoon.
2. Parker and Stone are not liberals. In fact they have gone on record as saying that they "Hate Conservatives, but really f-ing hate liberals" Matt stone has gone on record saying he is libertarian.
I mean, do you do any research before you make these kind of claims, or do you just like being wrong all the time?
1: Your right, I got the first and second episode mixed.
And I must have gotten confused All the interviews I have read they seem to be liberal.

Im not sure if I said this, but my favorite thing has to be that all of the pc frat are white, straight with no visible minorities. Yet they act all socially conscious, but all they do is yell at people avout micro aggressions

They are so into themselves that they are just an awkward glance away from trying to bone each other, they're gay curious but too worried about maintaining their hyper masculine bro culture to commit.

From a SomethingAwful bit from 06 entitled My Comedy Central Internship:
(text, but very NSFW)
Spoiler:
The mumbling you hear in the animation department is everywhere. You can't miss it. It vibrates off the walls as you walk in and grows louder the further back you go. We asked the tour guide about it three or four times – he pretended not to hear us.
Only when we walked by the office of Matt Stone and Trey Parker did we understand. The door was slightly ajar, and when I looked in I saw something that was disgusting, enthralling, and informative all at once: The two men were nude on the floor, giving each other blowjobs and discussing upcoming episodes of South Park.
"Mmmmf GOD we're so fething FUNNY," Matt said.
"Comedy mmmmmf fething GENIUSES," Trey responded, spitting a mouthful of semen onto a portrait of Tex Avery.
While I can't say I condone such interoffice relationships, I do realize Matt and Trey need creative freedom and I applaud Comedy Central for fostering such a diverse workplace!

That's what they were getting at with. It's what happening a lot nowadays, i.e. people suddenly becoming socil activists without knowing what it means. The last episode really pointed it out again: the frat boys are doing it to bang chicks and in real life, people claim being activists to get money / attention.

Beginning of the semester I walked by a classroom, professor wanted all the girls to write down all the names of boys who have hurt them to avoid saying them in class to prevent "emotional trauma".
My question, what if student in the class shares that name? Do they have to be called a number in class?
I wanted to walk in a troll the professor. Shame on you for assuming none of these girls have been in abusive same sex relationships.

There are some who refer to that as a 'hugbox', I believe. I've never actually been in one; do you know if they padded all the sharp corners in the room as well?
Y'know its funny. Im obviously in a very liberal school in what could be the most liberal department, and most of my Professors agree that PC culture is out of hand to the point of censorship.
I had one say "There is gonna be some disturbing stuff in this class, Rape, sexual assault, Racism, sexism, and a number of this, if you cant handle it, please tell me so I can recommend other classes"
That sounds like a professor to stick with, 'sauce.
If you're too afraid of nasty things to talk about the nasty things, you can't understand them, and can't discuss how to stop them.
It's not that sensitivity isn't important, it's that a total refusal to discuss them out of fear of making someone somewhere potentially uncomfortable in any context breeds minds incapable of being able to properly deal with the uncomfortable things. There is a subtle difference that is quickly becoming lost.
I love Mr. Mackey as the voice of reason in that episode.
'Maybe you shouldn't post pictures of yourself in your underwear online.....'
Just before PC Principal tears him a new one.
I watched the new season wholly on the advice of this thread- I only regret the Yelp episode. That's pretty impressive consistency.
