Operational Pause... and a new Wretched Son!

Almost immediately after finishing the Ordo Sicarius trio I found out I was being deployed down range for an extended period.

Thus my output slowed almost to a standstill - now I’m on the way I’ll post some WIPS of the little work I did before departing home.

Here’s the first of them - as a bit of a change from Inq28 stuff I went back to my homegrown Truescale Chaos war band, the Wretched Sons.

Bits: an old Nurgle Lord body with GS-smoothed skin; the hood and head from the Arch Lord Discordant rider; the old Chaos Knights banner with a partial corpse from the Corpse Cart kit skewered on top; some Grey Knight Terminator arms; some Stormcast Eternal arms which I didn't end up using; and a tilt shield from one of the Space Hulk Blood Angels.

Not shown here was an Astartes powerpack I used after discarding the Discordant one; switched out the shield for a Grey Knight terminator forearm-mounted Stormbolter; added an old Empire sheathed sword as his blade (real warriors always carry a blade); and I switched out the Space Hulk tilt-shield for a couple of standard Terminator ones.

End result was this Banner Bearer:

Thanks for looking!
