I've had more requests for this last model than anything else by far, originally it only had the bare head, like all my other models so far, but I had so many requests for a helmet I thought I'd take the time to make and include it.
I guess I can't please everyone.

I don't think anyone is saying your models are bad, they're great... you're also selling models with GW IP plastered all over them (in this case very blatant with the inquisitorial =I= and everything), and you're not in China or Russia where that might fly. I don't think that's a good decision long-term given GWs history, for example the recent case with ArtelW.

I've addressed this in an earlier post in this thread, more than 2 years ago. I'd like to keep it at that to be honest.

I've received the first casts of the Silver Knight, the model is now available from my webstore, http://captaincalicominiatures.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=68

Here are pictures of the assembled model, very little clean up was required. He stands at 45mm to eye level.
I think the pictures of the cast model came out better than the sculpt on this one.

I'm thinking about 4 more similar models to accompany this one next. If I do, what weapons would people like to have as options, swords, hammers, a banner...? Let me know!

I've added something a bit different to my website, an alternate eldar war walker cockpit.

I've always liked the war walker but not the open cockpit design, so I've made a closed version that is now available on my website, http://captaincalicominiatures.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=72

Let me know what you think.

Like the concept, but looks a little bulky?

Might be the near right angle on the bottom rear side.

It's the same size as the original cockpit 'footprint'.

Still something looks a little off to my eyes,

Yeah, the right angle at the back throws off the aesthetics of the design, and those prancey Eldar are all aesthetics.

Have you considered making a top fin for it to blend the design more in-line with the heads on the wraithlords, Titans and wraithguards?

There is something off about it for sure, that makes the front look boxy instead of bubbly and smooth. Compare to the Wasp Walker from FW and see what I mean on the side by side.

It's because it's a big solid blob on the front of the walker. It's not open and therefore seems a lot heavier than the skimpy walker. I know this seems more 'real', but that's not what the Eldar really do.

The bottom corner is the same shape as the original cockpit, and the same as the wasp (which is the same as the war walker), thanks for the comments.

I don't think anyone is talking about the bottom corner of the body.

The actual shape of the canopy itself seems to square from the front, unlike the wasp that slopes more.

EDIT:

I'm 1000% interested in this btw, and also if you were to make some other neat add ons to make other eldar vehicles fully enclosed!

I'm loving the idea of Eldar alternative pieces so I'd like to see this and others come to fruition. It's just that visually it seems a bit 'heavy' for and Eldar design. Please don't take it too negatively.

Maybe try showing it with the guns on? Something definitely doesn't feel right about the weight, but it might just be that, if you were matching the proportions of the original?

Or maybe it's the dome or frame curves?

It could just be it's too large as you've dsigned it to fit the walker pilot,

40K convention is to make almost everything too small to fit pilots, passengers etc especially if you also consider all the controls, armour and life support that will also need to fit into the space and this is what our eyes are used to seeing (especially on older designs)

I bet if you made it about 20% smaller front to back that cabin would look a lot more 'right' even though it would be technically to small for the eldar to fit in
