Generally the Psychic Powers are generic to those that can take it. Faction specific 'nerfs' are usually ambiguous, but there are exceptions.

ITC was also the leader behind allowing Orks their 400 pt Stompa. Highly controversial as it's known to be a typo, but at least they got something.

I'd rate trukk boyz as specialized. I, personaly, use them to shut down smaller long range support like Centurions and devstators. They do that job prety well.

Thanks SLIP for some awesome work thus far.

I've been running a "just for fun" build of dual CAD with 4 ML2 Weirdboyz aroundork boyz giving them 12 Warp charge and all rolling on Malefic. The specific intention being to summon 1-2 blood thirsters turn 1. With the errata changing the summoning of FMC rules I wonder whether you thought this might change the validity of weirdboyz and their competitiveness?

Having a bloodthirster assaulting turn 2 alongside the rest of the ork rush is pretty heavy.

Very well written article can't wait to here about the rest of the fast attack portion!!

"The space marine officer was waving and yelling to his men on the wall unaware he was leading the Squiggoth on. Stompy (the squiggoth) headbutted its way through the wall and gave chase to the terrified commander as he ran up seven tiers of the fortress, trying to close gates behind him and ordering men to cover his fight. In the end, stompy cornered and pulverised the officer in the heart of the citadel as thousands of orks poured through the breaches he had left behind."

Just getting back into it. I dumped so much into the project at first I kinda burnt out. Plus the FAQ dropped halfway through and I had to rewrite a bunch. Gonna aim to have it wrapped up by the end of January.

Amazing work, love to see the rest

EDIT: Ya I still feel I had to say it twice, also may be a few grogs in and was reminded your tactica helped me not make a complete ass of myself on my first game back in 2 years

Noticed that article mentioned 2nd edition couple times, when it was actually speaking 3rd edition. In big mek and burnaboyz entries at least

Victory isn't important, but great mounds of bloody skulls. From your side, if not enemy's...

I've done a little work. I've begun part II here: https://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/7th_Ed_Ork_Competitive_Analysis_II

I've added Stormboyz, but final edits to Part I are still to come as well. I've done some extensive play testing and you can expect major changes to Weirdboyz, Burna Boyz, Nobz, and Trukk Boyz, and some slight tweaks like the ones Morhgoz pointed out and minor changes to Big Meks and Painboys as well. I'll do those concurrently with writing new material but final readability edits will come after a full rough draft. Enjoy!

Warbikers are next!
