I would have to go through the old catalogs as there where tons of great old 40k models from the RT to early 2nd ed era.

It depends.

What material will the "cast to order" be in?

If it's that failcast drek, then I want none of it.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Part of me wants to get loads more Dogs of War and metal Eldar Guardians and Familiars. But then I think about how many minis I've bought over the years, and how little I play now, and I think it'd be a bad idea. Probably I should spend a little money on the few missing models I'd actually need to fill gaps and/or enable formations.

The frames from every starter set that had edition specific frames. 4th Ed. 40K on up, and 6th Ed. WFB on up.

BFG would be nice as well, as would the Talisman plastics. Hell, ANY of the 4th/5th Ed. WFB monopose I'd snap up.

The made to order thing would mean old models that have been discontinued from the main lines rather than stuff that never existed

I'm going to risk general ire and actually wish for a lot of the metal SM sculpts from late 2nd edition on. Things like chaplains, librarians, and such that had the less detailed, more streamlined look of the time.

To be fair, I'm actually building a semi-retro Ultramarines army from that time period.

Well... if I need old models for conversions, I would actually prefer Finecast (in this issue it's far better than metal and even plastic).

What I'd like to see (i.e. have):
*metal Genestealers (especially their original arms)
*Confrontation gangs
*Inquisitor Genestealer and Magus/Hybrid upgrade kit

From the next list I own most of the models I really want, but just for the sake of good miniatures and to see them on the other side of the table:
*Necromunda
*Muties
*Henchmen of the Inquisition

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

No he isn't. He is referencing the Battle for Macragge. Macragge kind of looks like McDonald's.

I would love to have all the BoM scenery get rereleased. It would be great for our game table.

I thought they were great. No fething about with two-part heads and different weapon arms. I prefer them to the standard kit.

They sound the same as the current snap-fit termagants...

https://www.games-workshop.com/en-AU/Tyranid-Termagants

They just come with Fleshborers, no 2 part heads, decent models and when you have 30+ of the buggers it's hard to tell the difference. Much quicker to assemble than the multipart ones. The only downside is they don't come with a Ripper swarm and I like me some Rippers.

I've always disliked the size of the current termagants, they're supposed to be weedy rules-wise and yet the models are huge, in that sense I prefer the 2nd edition or even rogue trader termagants.

All the Pretorian guard, I'd buy a whole army GW, get on it

The entire Necromunda range

Battlefleet Gothic - I'll take another one of each (I have most stuff bar tyranids)

If plastics, the original land raider, rhino, predator and plastic imperial guard troopers for nostalgia's sake. But I feel most of these would just be stepping on forge worlds toes too much.

Harlequins, genestealer cult - Oh nevermind those dreams have already come true.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.
