It is. Although not as regular as I originally planned as not not everyone is available at the same times we've just been using the fb goiup to organise games.

Thinking of Joining a Davinite Loge
|
Evening.
I'm wondering if anyone here would be available to play a few introductory games of Blood Bowl at some point in the near future? I received a copy of the game at Christmas and have been steadily working my way through the chore of painting. I've never played TT, although I've put a fair few hours into the video game and have a basic grasp of the fundamentals.
Looking to fill up a few evenings over the coming months, sink a few beers and learn something new.

Short notice I know, but my opponent has had to pull out, so I'm wondering if anyone fancied a 1000 points game of 40k at around 5pm today at WHW?
Let me know if you are interested

I'm wondering, would anyone be able to introduce me to any of the games? I used to play 40K back in around 4th edition but i've never actually completed my Tau Army so i don't have enough to bring along and play 40K, and neither do i have the latest rulebook or codex. I've been wanting to try playing something and then if i enjoy that get back into 40K later, rather than spending £100+ to get 40K stuff up to date and then finding out it wouldn't work out (or the upcoming new edition is terrible). Like i said i don't have anything ready myself so i'd have to rely on someone else to provide the models/teach me how to play at first. Would anything be willing to do something like that? I can't think of any of the games i wouldn't like to try.

Hiya, sorry this reply is a little delayed. Me and a couple others have started playing killteam on wednesday nights and have found it to be a lot of fun. Its a skirmish version of normal 40k where you treat individual models as though they were units. I think its a good way of getting to grips with the rules and also small enough to run through a game or too quickly.
If you fancy joining us some time I have a enough Tau models for a kill team you can borrow. We meet about 6.15 in bugmanns bar at warhammer world. Let me know if youre interested.

Hey, I'll be moving to Nottingham Trent uni's Clifton campus next week so I'll only be 5 minutes away from WHW. Anyone looking for friendly games, just drop me a message, I'll be happy to play if I'm free!

I'll be moving back to Nottingham/UK in a month or so.
I'm not at all up to date on the rules for current GW battle game editions, but I'll happily meet up for a drink and say hello.
Also; I have had an increasingly growing interested in warband/skirmish/campaign systems. Would be great if anyone wants to talk about getting some Mordheim/Gorkamorka/Necromunda started... I'd be especially interested in Gorkamorka as I never got to get into a decent campaign for that one.

Hi Guys,
I'm regularly looking for games myself. I run Guard, happy to play against any lists,I have 6000pts so can field pretty much anything but Don't run tournament lists (SmiteSpam, Soup or any other fun spoiling BS) and (I like to think) am half decent company.
I normally play at Warhammer world but i''m happy with any thing where I can get to role some dice. If anybody wants a game just let me know.

Hey mate, a fellow guard player here head over to the Facebook group (link at the start of the thread) and send a request to join - I’ll accept it for you. Welcome to the gang! It’s a really active group and you’ll be sure to get some opponents lined up.

I am contemplating a move in the medium term future to Nottingham, and will be in the city in October to check it out. If I want to get a sense of the wargaming community there. I'll be in town from the 18th to the 23. What are the places i should check out? Obviously there's Warhammer World, but where are the local game club nights going on? Are there any pubs where people from the gaming community tend to hang out, or where people from GWHQ/ WHW might wander over too after a day's work/ gaming? Any tips are much appreciated.
