Good job...

You need a reason to watch the actual show....I guess.

Yeah, the show looked horrible, with Medusa looking like she's wearing the worlds worst wig.

I will say though, all things considered in it (IE the show looks crap), Lockjaw was *really* well done and a true highlight of the trailer.

Trailer left me thoroughly unimpressed. Most of the cast just don't do anything for me, either.

Finally a glimpse of her hair in action. Was ok, need to see more. Lockjaw's still awesome.

It looks a bit better. I still think that the only real saving grace of the show will be Lockjaw though, who'll become immensely popular.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

I think the main issue I'll have with this show is they seem to not merely be playing it straight, but playing it as some grand dynastic power struggle drama.

With a giant teleporting dog.

Yeah, no. There's going to have to be a whoooole lot of nodding & winking and wry humour in this thing if they expect to put those two things together.

That's because Black Bolt is criminally miscast, Medusa's hair is awful and Maximus conveys neither threat nor insanity. The whole thing looks like F4ntastic.

Which is a shame, as the Fantastic Four is a great property that's never really been done right in movie form.

And I bet Marvel/Disney keeps the Fantastic Four out of book form until that day that they get the rights back, however far away that date is!

How so?

The Inhumans are a classic cast of characters, and have figured heavily into current Marvel storylines as well.

Agents of Shield did their take on them, but it wasn't a particularly good one.

Sure, they became the MCU's version of "mutants" as the MCU 'can't' use that term because Marvel sold it to Fox back in the bad old days...

Hmm i liked it. The first seasons were good and the "hive" / inhumans story arc was ok. And after watching season 1-3 the first half of season 1 was better than my first impression.
Ghost rider was also nice, (Well after that movie everything would have been nice.) but the last season was kinda like they didn`t know what to do after the hive story arc.
Allthough it was not that bad.

Spoiler:
S.W.O.R.D.?
The last shot with Coulson may be a hint for the next storyline but as far as i know there is nothing concrete about season 5 yet.

As for Inhumans, lets hope it will be better than the trailers.
I love the acting of Iwan Rheon and i`m looking forward to see him do evil stuff.

Nah, they're just half-assing it until they get it back. FF is still a core IP, and they don't want it to die. They just don't want to print money for other studios.

Same as what they did with mutants / X-men, fewer X books to keep the fans, but not pushing really hard on it.

I quite enjoy the show. Not as good as Agent Carter, but (IMO) better than Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. Plus, Chloe Bennet.

It does need more access to the greater Marvel movieverse though. Hopefully the closing scene to S4 is indicative of that (helping set up the Infinity War some more, like giving more info on the Infinity Stones or providing a tie-in between the Avengers and the Guardians).

I'm not sure about this new Inhumans show though. It just looks... shoddy. Will it tie in to any of the other Marvel properties at all?

Wow, this looks awful.

You know, I've always complained about the focus on street-levelers in the Marvel shows. But now I get it.

There hasn't been a single TV show that's managed to actually do superpowers justice. They look god awful in every show.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

I mean I'll still give it a go, since "it's garbage, just like Iron Fist" isn't much of a criticism to someone who actually really enjoyed Iron Fist, but the more specific criticisms don't bode well.

A few people I follow on twitter saw it at the imax last night. Their opinion was: "It's worse than Iron Fist."

Having just finished Iron Fist last week, I really, really disliked that. It was basically "Arrow... but every character is an a-hole."

I finished watching Defenders last night though and *that* was good, the best Marvel TV I'd say. The only downside with that was that it ended far too quickly.

I'm pretty ambivalent about Defenders. It's not bad, but its not as special as the shows that created it. I put it about on par with the first season of Arrow, which is better than most comic shows, just disappointing as I've come to expect better.

Didn't watch Iron Fist but Danny was pretty insufferable in Defenders so I can't say I feel like I missed anything.

I'm really loving to this dumpster fire of a train wreck here fitting justice to some extent.

Did not know that the movies and the comics division are run now separately Considering how Marvel Comics is run these days I'm happy it is separate. The Comics these days are trash and it's all incompetent, sales going down the drain in a time when sales should be going through the roof.

Feed the poor war gamer with money.
