Yep, they're not the first KillaKans in the thread but they're certainly the redest. They Must go really fast. Automatically Appended Next Post: as promised here is my first collection of grot sketches. I recently decided I'd like to get better at drawing and make an effort to draw more so I've got some ink pens and started with grot characters.

And I may as well l, since I can, introduce you all to my original Grot fiction protagonist, Smirking.
(The original smirking from " Smirking :A grot's life.")
This is him as we first meet him in the spawning grounds eating bugs. His lips are pink and swollen having had a reaction to some flower he used to catch the bug with.

Quite a few of my models have a grot or snotling in, they entertain me so I put them in. Hope you enjoy the little fellas

There a few more to such as snotlings hanging onto the wings of a tri-plane, or driving a cold one pulled chariot but don't want to spam every pic I've put on Dakka

Spam away Midget Gems. I've been using these pics for inspiration for my sketches so its all good.
Very nice work on all your pieces here. Whack-a-snot is my favourite with Santa and the crew a close second. Lots of thoughtful detail and really great painting throughout too!

Continuing my run of grot fiction illustration (if you have no objections) is this piece just finished today.
SkagNet's grot mob gets a nasty surprise when they encounter two sentinels on a mountain pass.

Back on something altogether more 3D I'll add this picture of the grot heavy weapon team that I made for Kb_Lock's Dakka Clan Ork mob (Unbased as per instructions.) The big gun is scratch built from tank parts and pizza box supports. ( you know the little white tripod thing that stops the pizza box lid squashing the top of your pizza.) I also used some wheels off my kids' toy car that they'd broken.

Awesome stuff. Love it. Grots would totally want to loot a Bassie! I'd be sorely tempted to do the same thing to my own, though my guardies wouldn't appreciate it.
