I've just got back to it a couple of days ago, and just now finished it off!

Looks good! Never been a big fan of the GUO that looks like it can't move. This is much better.

Love those horns, but Im not such a big fan of the wounds and boils. It may just be the lighting, but you might want to do another thinned-down shade over some of them

Truly inspiring and terrifying. An outstanding conversion and a paintjob to match.

If you would force me to come up with any shortcomings, i would say that the overall paintjob looks a bit dull or flat - there are simply no strong colours that draw the eye. But that's just down to personal taste.

thanks guys...yeah, photography is still not my strong point ...looking at it in real life, it's generally all-round a little darker, and there's definitely more visible subtle colour transitions, and deeper shading around the boils and stuff...these pics looked great on my phone (and also pretty good if I tilt my laptop screen way back so it messes with the brightness/contrast a bit), but now I have them uploaded here, they seem a lot more flat and washed-out

at some point, I might try out a different kind of background, tinker with the lighting, etc...and see if I can get it to come out more true-to-life

thanks again guys...I've just gotten some better pics, or rather, the exact same pics! ...only this time, instead of uploading straight from my phone to dakka...I uploaded them to my laptop, resized them in paint, uploaded to imgur, then uploaded to dakka from imgur, using dakka's auto-adjust...it seems to have done the trick

Looks a whole lot better man, a delight.

If you're intrestend in retouching your images before uploading them to dakka, i'd recommend GIMP and its white balance and colour correction features.

Now there's a worth GUO. Excellent work!
