As it stands I don't think anyone in the known factions have even established communications with the Tyranids, much less brokered anything. Tigrius technically made contact with the hive mind but it was more of a peek than having a meaningful conversation with it.

Anyone who has ever allied with the Tyranids were more or less directing a primordial force of nature against their opponent. like how an army might trigger an avalanche against an opponent; the avalanche isn't exactly "allied" to the army, just being used. Ironically this is how the GSC can ally with them; they're being used by the nids (I wouldn't say unknowingly, but then again they probably are not aware they're merely the appetizer).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Norn Queen

The Norn Queens are currently old potentially outdated fluff. There is no mention of them, at all, anywhere in 6th or 7th ed. The codex doesnt talk about them. The supplements dont mention them. The closest thing to a mention we get is the norn crown bio artifact.

I wouldn't be too quick to consider any story with a norn queen in it canon until they get mentioned again.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

There are also Norn ships in the Valedor novel, which are described as super-sized Hive Ships and the center of a Hive Fleet.

In addition, Valedor also made it clear that there is only one Hive Mind and when 2 Hive Fleets meet each other they merge.

Well Norn Queens are not necessary a Hive Queen.. the old fluff considered them a infant Queen.. And they were generally only seen when attached the Dominatrix, described as a small Warrior Size creature attached to the back of these Bio-Titans

The fluff for these died off as the Dominatrix featured in Epic as the Tyranid answer for Warlord/Emperor Titans
