@KitBashMagos: Much appreciated, thank you!

@Azazelx: Indeed, there were issues fitting the Mark III torsos to the biker kit so I gave them the standard body with Mk III heads and backpacks. The Lord has a "traditional" CSM backpack just to make him a bit more imposing.

My little Nurgle army continues to grow, the Plague Marines are a touch too detailed and busy for my liking but I am enjoying painting them, so here are three more:

And the band together:

The Plague Knives may get a touch of Typhus corrosion and rust, but we shall see.

Thanks for looking.

Nice work on those Plague chaps! I'd agreed with hitting a few areas with a little Ryza Rust rather than Typhus Corrosion, just a tiny amount will add some really strong contrast to the muted tones on the rest.

Those Plague Marines are gorgeous! I may not have liked the little fleshy bits that were sprouting out of their armor all over the place, but you did them justice!

Real nice work.

Agreed, they look great. I'm not a fan of the huge mouthful of teeth everywhere, but that's GW for you. Take one good idea and run it into the ground by overdoing it everywhere. Color tones look great, and wether you do the ryza rust or typhus corrosion I can't say which would look better. Papa nurgle has many weapons in his arsenal .

Oh yeah, loving those Nuglemarines. It's a particularly effective scheme you've got going there as well.

Thank you for all the positive words, I have managed to get the rest of the unit done including the champion. I hacked off the bug on his backpack as it was a bit too much for me. So here they are:

And the entire unit:

Am off on holiday tomorrow so will be quiet for a week or so...but next up? The oddly named Foetid Bloat Drone.

The first guy you did with the gas mask look is still my favorite. Mainly because he is less spikey and more just mean looking.

Can't wait to see how your blight drone comes out, it's a cool looking model.

After a nice bit of holiday and a hectic return to work I have got a bit more work done on some more of the Dark Imperium Death Guard. First up is the Foetid Bloat Drone, I really enjoyed painting this one:

Also got my first 10 Poxwalkers painted up, nothing special here but I am content with the results:

I think I will tackle the other 10 Poxwalkers first and then onto the characters. Cheers for looking.

Lovely work on those ...disgusting things. Adding the deep, mucky reds and browns and such to the poxwalkers make them really look the part much more effectively than the lovely, but overly-clean "official" models.

Really well done. Love the pox walker with the yellow extended belly. Also liking the plague drone blight whatever you call it.

Cheers everyone, I did not see myself falling into a Death Guard army but I have just purchased First Strike, so that is more Plague Marines and Poxwalkers for the pile. More Pus for the Pus God!

That said I think they will go well with my Iron Warriors who are certainly not forgotten.

Iron warriors are too easily forgotten. That's what always upset Peturbo.

I was looking at the first strike boxes today. Luckily I was able to shake the need to buy them.

Some fab paint jobs in here - I'm struggling through my own Iron Warriors at the moment and it's nice to see how good they can look - how do you do the really fine highlights around the cracks in the Bloat-Drone's armour?

Also, how did you decide which bits of the fans to cover in Nihilakh Oxide? I always find I end up using too much and it all just looks like the end of Men in Black when the bug explodes...

Please don't hate me now, but i think that your Iron Warriors are far superior to your Plague Marines. Really oustanding job your did there, i enjoy the bright, shiny metal and the very clear paintjob, especially.

Cheers everyone, @jbeil the fine highlights are just a combination of a small brush, a steady hand and well watered down paint. Plus going over the base coat to cover the inevitable mistakes. The oxide is just intuition, and less is always more.

@VyRa: No worries, I think I prefer my Iron Warriors too.

Anyway, I did a little purchase to add to my Deathwatch Army, my local GW somehow had one left so I snapped it up:

I also painted up another Deathwatch Dreadnought, this time a Salamander:

I have a Dreadnought problem:

My Deathwatch army is not very big, but here is what I have thus far:

Thank you for looking.

More Dreadnought action for you Azazelx...this time of the Redemptor variety. With the addition of a few bits off the Deathwatch upgrade sprue and a Blood Angels chapter symbol from one of the Marine vehicle kits.

I also got a four further Deathwatch Terminators done as well, a pair of lighning clawed Imperial Fist and Blood Angel warriors, a heavy flamer White Scar and an Assault Cannon Crimson fist.

And here they are together:

I like the addition of the red stripe you do on the deathwatch. The redemptor dread looks awesome with the door op pod emblem on the shoulder.

Ah it was from the Drop Pod kit, thank you for reminding me. The red stripe is borrowed from the GW studio scheme, it just adds a bit of interest and takes away from all that black.

Thank you, have made a touch more progress over the past couple of weeks. Apologies for the quality of the photography, as we head into autumn the light is very variable.

First up is the Lord Of Contagion from the Dark Imperium boxed set, I really enjoyed painting this one:

I also got the Noxious Blightbringer done, he was buckets of fun to paint:

Also got the three Plague Marines fro the First Strike boxed set painted up. This gives me 10 Plague Marines and enough for two completely legal, if unfluffy, squads of 5 men:

Continuing the Chaotic theme I got a 5 man Iron Warriors squad painted up, not strictly a legal squad unless I use the as Havocs but these will be jiggled about with my currently painted Iron Warriors:. I think the two Plasma guns will be added to a CSM squad.

And finally I got a Terminator Squad painted up. I actually went the hazard stripe route on their shoulder pads and am quite happy with the results:

Thank you for looking.

Thank you, any inspiration is good inspiration in this hobby. Have completed the Death Guard miniatures from Dark Imperium with the Malignant Plaguecaster. I was originally unsure of this mini but really loved painting him up. Sorry for the poor photo:

I also got the 6 Poxwalkers from First Strike, and a further six of the same minis done. These are my favourite Poxwalker sculpts, really enjoyed painting them up:

I also placed a little order direct with GW for the Nurgle Daemon Prince, no finecast issues here:

And finally my 45 odd Death Guard miniatures altogether:

Thanks for looking.
