Ooh great ideas for making the Wraithguard look old and worn looking forward to seeing that. I know that sort of thing doesn't tend to translate to pictures overly well, which is irritating given the amount of time I've put towards doing it on my dudes!
Glad you had a good time down under

I started work on the fire prism:
The pics don't show the blending very well, but irl it's a lot more pronounced.

Very sexy, the black and green contrast well as highlights to the general blue colour scheme.

HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

Yeah I like it! Really crisp colours, and I love the fade form blue to green on the extremities that's something I've never quite got nailed...

Cool color combination. The snowy base looks good, too.

Well, this project has kinda stalled but FEAR NOT MORTALS! Games Workshop has shown me the light again, by teasing next weeks releases:
I'll probably get this, as I need another unit of wraitguard and another 'lord to fill out my slots. And it comes with a free war walker and farseer,
Also dice:
Which means I need an excuse to use them, so I'll probably get some of these:
My FLGS has a bunch (like 50, seriously) of boxes of aspects laying around, and they've dropped the price down to 15 bucks. Yay!
Cool stuff, huh? I though so too.
Then I saw this:
And almost threw my laptop across the room.
THE BONESINGER IS BACK!!!

Hi guys! I decided to order the bone singer, along with this awesome Farseer model: I'll probably use him as-is, although I might try and convert him into a spiritseer. I'll have to see the parts before I can be sure, though.

Nice to see it up and running again! I have to say, that box has made me think about picking my Eldar back up again as well.

I feel the same way about the new SC box. I don’t need the war walker or the seer, but I’ll not turn them away. I’ve been coveting the WL since he hit plastic though, and need some WG so I can be vaguely competitive. I’ve played enough DoW to need the bonesinger as well.
The seer with staff comes in 3 parts to start with. Main body, head, and the arm with the staff up to the shoulderguard. Here is a WIP from when I was painting mine. The top of the staff should detach sometime during cleaning, making for 4 parts total. Finicky to pin back on, but possible. IMHO one of the better farseers they have made. As you can’t give farseers staves anymore, I use him as a spiritseer. (or hypothetically as an Eldrad counts-as)

Tell me about it on the old-school models front. I've already blown my next month's lunch money on Bonesingers and that kickass Banshee-mask Autarch that I've wanted for ages
I wonder if they'll be Finecast or metal...
Can't wait to see what you make of these guys

Thanks! Most of my models have been semi-painted, so expect several updates in the near future.

Thanks for the tip! I'm planning to take a left over Warlock head, GS over the eye lenses and magnetise it, so I can use the model as either a bone singer or farseer.

The site said metal, which is fine with me. Both of them will be slightly converted, but I'm not sure exactly how. I do have a few ideas, in any case.

Neat! Not so great for converting, but I much prefer metal for skinny little models like eldar.
Shall have to break out the hacksaw
