Update #10 - Masters have landed!

Spacefarers,

as you know, the miniatures for Astropolis II are already sculpted. And when the journey started with such great momentum, we started producing master casts from the miniatures. And these have now arrived! We think they look amazing and hope you like them too.

Burnt some midnight oil and painted the 1st two Astropolis II mini!

Lord Navigator and Navigation Processor

"Generally-speaking, the Astropolis follows a Long Plan devised many centuries ago prior to the launch of the ship.
The design of the cosmic engines only allows for minor alterations, with course changes being measured in months rather than minutes. Still, it is necessary to approach systems as the ship comes close to replenish stocks and conduct trade, and these changes are the task of the Lord Navigator.
Using innate psychic abilities, they plot courses for years and decades to come, always in close cooperation with the Chief Quartermaster; the actual calculations are performed by the cyborgs called “Navigation Processors”, who meld the intuitive factors of the human mind with the raw computing power of nanoquant calculating engines."

Update #11 - To boldly go...

Spacefarers,

you unlocked Stretch Goal number eight! Now the Quartermaster is added for free to every Pledge of at least Full Thrust or 100 €.

Quartermaster

Fuel is a critical commodity. Astropolis’ cosmic engines rely on background radiation to propel the vast ship at a constant speed, but space-dinghys and gigs require special rocket fuels, as do jury-rigged environmental systems in various parts of the ship where the original suites have already failed. The Quartermaster Corps is a stern fraternity of humourless book-keepers tracking the ever-dwindling stocks and issuing rations one new caches of usable fuels have been procured.

Now we have a Fuel Attendant and a Quartermaster. A perfect team. They are already included in every Pledge of at least Full Thrust or 100 Euro for free, but additionally they can now be picked as one of the Half Thrust Set choices or added to any Pledge as an Add-On.

Next Stretch Goal at 13.955 Euro
Kickstarter Exclusive Kroglogg Noble

When we hit 13.955 Euro, Astropolis II surpasses the first Astropolis Kickstarter. We want to celebrate this with a special miniature. The Kroglogg Noble is an Exclusive and will be added free to every Pledge of at least Full Thrust or 100 Euro. He was the very last Stretch Goal that we prepared for Astropolis II. But maybe if the journey will take us even further, we will have some nice addition.

Still no word on when they're going to add in models from the first campaign though, seven days left on the timer, adding those in as add-ons would give this campaign a massive boost in funds.

Okay, now we're talking!

UPDATE #12 - Are your ready for Hyperspeed?

Spacefarers,

many of you wrote in the comments that they missed Astropolis I and would like to add some or even all of its miniatures. We promised that this is going to happen ... so here they are.

Astropolis I Set Add-Ons

You can add any single Astropolis I Sets as Add-Ons just as any other Add-On.

Astropolis I - Complete Add-On

If you want 'em all there is one Add-On with a discount to add all 12 Sets to your Pledge.

Hyperspeed Pledge level

For those of you, who want everything, we added the Hyperspeed Pledge level. It contains the complete Astropolis I range additionally to the Full Speed Pledge of Astropolis II. Of course at a special price.

Now Astropolis is traveling with Hyperspeed!

Update #13 - A journey through space ... in Astrocolor

Spacefarers,

some of you might have seen some of these in forums or blogs already, but we felt this is the right place to present some of the wonderful painted Astropolis I miniatures and even some of the Astropolis II master casts already painted up.

Thanks a lot to the painters for these astonishing and amazing work!

Update #14 - Where no man has gone before

Spacefarers,

with your support, Astropolis II has gone as far as Astropolis I and we have about three days left to go even farther.

We want to celebrate this with another exclusive miniature. The Kroglogg Noble is added for free to every Pledge of at least Full Thrust or 100 €.

Kroglogg Noble (Kickstarter Exclusive*)

When the Krogloggs’ starship failed, they had to adapt themselves to a new life among other species as alien to them as vice-versa. Their previously mighty noble caste, being intellectual and spiritual leaders, took to their new role as adjudicators and focal points for a people in exile.

* Kickstarter Exclusive is an Exclusive miniature for Kickstarter backers. Remaining stock can be made available at conventions and special promotions only. Will not be available at standard retail!

Kroglogg Noble Add-On

Of course now that the Noble is unlocked you are free to add the miniature as an Add-On e.g. if you are a Half Thrust backer or just want a second copy of the miniature.

Next Stretch Goal at 16.000 Euro
AstroSec Line Corporal

The borders of our initial plans are now fully reached. The Kroglogg Noble was the last Stretch Goal that we prepared for Astropolis II and since we do not want to risk the time frame, it was not easy to find solutions how to reward you for your great support. And here is what we managed to arrange. Some of you asked for peacekeepers. Well. Here we have one. If we reach this goal, every Pledge of at least Full Thrust or 100 € gets an AstroSec Line Corporal added for free.

Update #15 - To infinity and much more

Spacefarers,

you are awesome! Must be some criminals around, so everybody is calling for AstroSec. Don't worry, the Corporal is here to make your voyage safe. The AstroSec Line Corporal is added for free to every Pledge of at least Full Thrust or 100 €.

Final Stretch Goal at 18.000 Euro
Additional Tech Crates

As stated before, your smashed the last prepared Stretch Goal, which was the Kroglogg Noble. Now you just pulverized the additional Stretch Goal at a glance. Wow. What a crazy journey. Since the delivery time frame makes it hard to add unprepared items, we worked out what everybody might need and we are able to produce in time. Additional Tech Crates is the answer and so this set of two additional Tech Crates is the final Stretch Goal that we can grant you for your great support.

Update #17 - Final Stretch Goal unlocked

Spacefarers,

thanks to you all, the final Stretch Goal is now smashed. You unlocked two more items than we initially prepared or thought of being possible to reach. Thank you for this support and confidence.

Every Pledge of at least Full Thrust or 100 € will now be added a set of two Tech Crates for free.

All possible Stretch Goals are now unlocked. Astropolis II has reached the outer rim, but the journey is not over. There are still more than two hours of traveling time left.

Loved some of these minis, but the shipping costs put me off ($10 for 6-8 figs seemed excessive, even overseas).

If anyone got extras of the not-Squats stateside and is willing to sell them to me at a reasonable markup, let me know, lol..

Adventurers,

it's 2nd of August and we would like to share with you that we already have received the production casts (and they are looking good!) and we are heavily busy preparing and packing all the Astropolis II sets. The first rewards will be ready for shipping at the beginning of the next week. Our aim is to finish the shipping in the first half of August.

Btw, we are still missing some of the surveys. Please make sure that you fill out the survey as soon as possible as it's the only way we can get your mailing address.
