Thanks for the comments!

@ ColFaz, maybe it’ll survive our next battle now it’s weathered

To celebrate the unlocking of one of my favourite Space Marine kits to the Blood Angels in the new Codex, I dusted off the one I bought and painted when it was first released and re-photographed it.

It's a nice kit. It reminds me of apocalypse now. Slightly let down by the details on the scouts (like their heads).

Your paint is excellent, of course.

Thanks ColFaz! You’re right about the heads - if I do one of these for the Raptors I’ll probably use heads from Skitarii or Scion kits...

Hope you all had a good Sanguinala! I managed to find some time to finish a couple of Razorbacks – and a few other things are not far off too...

May your ferrule stay clean and your nozzle never sputter.

Your paint on the razorbacks is exemplary.

The rhino chassis does have a few joins on that have always bothered me. If I ever paint a monkeigh vehicle again, I'll have to see if I can fix it.

Thanks Colonel!

Yes, the Rhino (and variants) kits are showing their age... These on the other hand are wonderful kits!

Thanks kavika - the Raptors decals are from chaptercustomizer.com and the others are from various GW sheets.

All very nice. I am amazed how fast your Raptors are coming together.

Thanks ColFaz! It's peaks and troughs really – I had all these vehicles on the go at the same time so they got finished in quick succession – but I have been quite productive of late I must say.

I would like to have a fully painted and cohesive army within this edition!

Finally finished my two Redemptor Dreadnoughts. I had planned to do more detail and weathering but there's so much in the queue I just had to get them done. I did paint both weapons for both Dreads at least

I've always loved the Raptors scheme, but you are killin it man. Everything looks fantastic and super consistent, and your use of various spot colors on occasion really helps keep things interesting too. Your general feel for contrast and saturations is very strong. Great stuff, thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much MajorTom!

Back to infantry and I finished another five Intercessors today. This takes me up to 15, so I can field 3x squads in a Battalion detachment but ultimately I will have 30 so I can max out those squads.

Have to agree with MajorTom, you truly are killing this raptors scheme. The paintwork is excellent! So often I see painters airbrush lazily with intent to get finishes like you've achieved, and it usually looks lackluster or tacky. Your painting style is considerate, subtle yet really makes everything pop super well!
