**Bottle**

Had a great half year so far, accomplished the following:

1. Released Hinterlands v.2, it has become one of the biggest AoS fan supplements to date (maybe the biggest).
2. Got to guest on Podcasts.
3. Got to go on Warhammer Live and debut Skirmish.
4. Won my first tournament trophy: Best Painted at Bristol Smash.
5. Painting highlights include: Small Genestealer cult army, Freeguild General on Griffon and 70 Renown Bloodbound Skirmish.
6. Got to start playing 40k again!

For the second half the year the main goals are:
1. Get miniatures into White Dwarf
2. Start playing Warhammer Quest with me as the GM.
3. Work on another fan supplement this time for Warhammer Quest.
4. Painting goals are; Genestealer Cult to 1.5k (75pwr), Warhammer Quest Hammerhal set, Destruction Skirmish Warband, Order army to 5k painted.

Got a car
Nearly got a girlfriend (WIP)
Got a job and another offer
Made a 3D model of a Reaver Titan (still WIP, but largely done)
Painted three armies (one modern, two retro)
Taught two teenage girls some life lessons by bailing them out of a hole.

I'm hoping to visit another country, eat my weight in Seafood, and set myself on my way to get a Masters and eventually a Doctorate before the year's over.

Teaching. I want to settle down later in life.

Also, to be fair, I just came out of a 2-year long depression spell, and the last one with the two teenage girls ended up being more of a nightmare than a good thing (for one, one of them nearly got trapped in a foreign country).

I've managed to get quite a lot done, although not too much actual painting. I got into a pretty great local Batman Miniatures group, and I've started running tournaments and game days at my FLGS for it. I'm doing my first major wargaming related trip in a couple of weeks as well, flying down to Melbourne for a weekend Batman tournament (I've been to Cancon, a big Australian con, 2 years in a row but it's only a couple hours drive away). I feel like my painting has improved as well, although I've hardly painted anything since January this year.

All in all I'm immensely proud of how far I've come, as this time last year I had a major crash into depression that took me a while to get out of, which also took a major toll on my gaming. Coincidentally, it wasn't long after that I played my most recent game of 40k, as I'm so much more interested in what comes from the rest of the market
