Word bearers can use pretty much anything in the codex.
For cult troops with the exception of rubric marines you could have them be fron within the ranks of your iwn host and for rubrics you could have it be the sorceror and his brothers have abandoned magnus and want to become part of the word bearers.

Out of curiosity, why do capitalise the first letter of almost every word? Bearers of the Word, not Capitalisers of the Word
