Pretty much anything from Edna's in Halifax. Amazing east coast food that changes up every so often, but always amazing.

Second and third goes to any sort of butter chicken or pad see ew from any of the local restaurants.

This province has a lot of bad gak going on, but the city is generally awesome and filled with awesome food.

Hard to say, but most recently I had a blast at Fogo de Chao Baltimore a few weeks ago. Particularly loved the garlic parmesan pork chop, but it was all pretty damn tasty.

Almost had to drop a fat dirty stink loaf in the corner of the parking garage shortly after eating, but it was worth it.

Edit; Haha! Answered the thread title before reading any of the thread, and OP said Fogo too. Awesome.

Bangers and Mash. There's a joint in my town called 9 Irish Brothers, and their food is awesome, with their Bangers and Mash being the top tier.

Tell me you wouldn't eat this...

Thats a tough question.
The best thing I ever ate was Kotsu Curry BUT it has competition in the form of a BMT from Subway.

Back when I was in college a friend and myself performed a 48 hour gaming session. We had drink bu we had forgotten to get any food in. No problems, we can just head to the campus shop... Except it was closed. Okay, the canteen.... Weekend and it had shut until the evening.
We managed to get on a bus (48 hours with no food or sleep and we both have high metabolisms - we where just short of hallucinating at this point, and my vision had become a narrow tunnel) and make it into town where we fell upon the nearest subway and purchased food. A Sub has never tasted so good, and we managed to recover enough to grab some more food and then head back.
Later I met some other students whom had seen us. They said they thought we where high on something strong.

On reading the question my first answer was your mum. How am I that juvenile at my age.

I'm a sucker for a good lasagne and chips. To the point my other half mocks me for it whenever we go out for a meal. The best I've ever had, used some ground up sirloin steak and had four different chesses on top. Seemed excessive but god could I tell the difference.

But none of these thrice cooked chips. Just cook them once and get it right.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.

Any live lobster over 2 pounds that I can rinse and throw into a pot to steam. Need the melted butter, red potatoes, corn on the cob and Old Bay too.

You can find me in the Chicago Tiki Room, where the drinks are always strong but don't taste that way!!!

I ate a 4lb Lobster on my first weekend back. Plus a real damn steak that was not boiled first and then thrown on a grill to get the char look to it. Tasted EXCELLENT both ways. I was one Fat Chub Scout for 12 hours

Through my nostalgia glasses... My great grandmother used to make leftover stew every Sunday and we'd go over there and have that for supper on Sundays, followed by cards.

The very best thing I've ever eaten, the only thing that ever springs *immediately* to mind is my Grandfather's chocolate cake, with brown sugar icing. I could eat 3/4 of a cake, and on the verge of actually throwing up, still *Gleefully* pound down the remaining quarter. Vomiting is a problem for future GreatBigTree.

Wild Boar Ragu, from Bertoldi's in London, Ontario, is fantastic.

My Inl-awesomes do Wigillia [Christmas Eve dinner. No meat, but Fish is Ok!] and every year is amazing. Smoked Trout, Fried Pickerel [Walleye for the Yanks], Baked Salmon, Shell-fish Pasta... plus the perogi, kasha, Mushroom Consumee with dumplings, the cabbage stuff that's like sauerkraut but a little different, potatoes, veggies, salads. Honestly, every meal I've ever eaten there is amazing, but Wigillia is always special.

Black licorice Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. And the Sizzling Cinnamon flavour. There are so many good Jelly Belly flavours.

Cinnabon cinnamon buns. Go for the heart-attack special and get the extra icing.

My Grandmother [other side] makes a great apple pie, and she always serves it with a slice of old cheddar. Soooo good.

Marshmallows and Hot Dogs cooked on a campfire. Bonus points! Cook a Marshmallow, and with the goo still stuck to the fork, skewer a hot-dog. You haven't lived until you've "essentially" eaten a caramel stuffed hot dog, with real smoke flavour. Oil from the Hot Dog releases the marshmallow residue, fork looks completely clean when you remove the hot dog.

Cool Ranch Doritios are the best Chips / Crisps you can get. I could eat a bag right now, and I just ate some ranch flavoured Bugles. Which for the record are inferior, but they were here.

Just went to Savanna last weekend for a quick get away. Had 3 of the best food experiences of my life there.

Went to this place called the Pirates house which is just supposed to be a historic place. Turns out it's food was top notch. Had the best Jambalaya ever. The next night I went to a place called Vics on the River - Menu was limited but go the cheerwine marinated short ribs...Best short ribs I've ever had. Then the next day for lunch went to a place called Vinny Vangoos - Literally the best Pizza I've ever eaten in my life - way better than anything I've had in NY.

Who woulda thought. Savanna Georgia. Changed my life.
