Got some Tau markerlights from them ages ago, had no problems. Sorry to hear their customer service sucks. I'll try to remember to avoid them.

Seems like with that many bitz available it's worth the 1% risk of bad things happening.

I haven't sold anything on eBay lately but it makes me wonder what defense i have as a seller from someone that just wants to say that they never received their items?

If you've ever wondered why so many people sell their used stuff on facebook groups, local swap meets, or back to stores.... this is why. eBay will get you the best price nearly every single time, but you have very few protections as a seller without spending a large amount on signed for protection, and even that won't always work, because they can claim that the item was damaged or not what they bid on.

Agree, I have not sold on eBay since a buyer slapped me with dispute 6 days after he paid for several items and requested Surface shipping (for the lowest cost of shipping from Canada to Germany). I had sent him a copy of the customs declaration and a reminder that it would take six to eight weeks to arrive (as noted in the auction for those selecting that shipping vice airmail or express). eBay Germany sided with the purchaser 30 days later, even though the parcel would not have arrived under normal shipping times (and I had provided them with the copies of the post service purchase and the customs form copies stamped on the day of shipping). :(

Oh and I have used Hoard-o-Bits twice with no issue.

Cheers,

CB

They once sent me a DA Black Knight model missing half its bike (?) and a broken Darkshroud hull. As others have said, when I brought it up to them they promptly blocked me. I sent the items back and had to wait until eBay/PayPal went through the resolution process in order to get a refund. I would avoid them AT ALL COSTS.

Edit: I forgot to add that once I returned the items, the guy let them sit in his P.O. Box for weeks so that technically he had not received them and didn't have to issue the refund, even though the tracking said they were sitting in his local Post Office.

Sorry for the threadromancy. Over Fathers Day eBay had a good promotional code for 15% off. Combined with this seller's 10% off any order with 10 or more items it was time for a large bits order.

Somewhat unreasonable shipping times, but go t the package. Missing one bit. Only $1.41, but key to a conversion. Multiple emails sent, no reply. Eventually went through eBay resolution. Got the money back, but got banned

Hundreds of bits ordered over the last few years, first problem. Does he really think I'd scam him for $1.41?

I've no idea what goes on at their end. I can only say that I've had no problems with them personally.

I use bits and more. German guys, always really good customer service. Only had bits show up one short once, and they promptly dispatched.

Since some of you might be in the market for a new bits seller. :p

I've ordered from Hoardobits many times. The only unfortunate thing is that kits are rarely replenished. Otherwise, I've had nothing but positive experiences.

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...
