Vindicare gives a -1 penalty to hit, -2 if he's in cover.

Culexus makes you treat your BS and WS as 6+, so any -1 hit penalty makes him immune to hits.

I think they should just cut the cost of ork range weapons in half. Except on Grots. Which in general I think are okay priced. Probably could go with some points drops too.

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

Kustom mega cannons should be in every competitive ork list. Its literally the best unit in the ork index IMO.

I honestly don't know if you are trolling or being serious.

That's the same thing I've thought when 7th edition was dropped, then I played lots of games with 2x3, 1x3, 1x4, 1x5 KMKs and noticed how they weren't that good, lobbas were 1000 times better, still not garbage but also not viable in any competitive list.

I've been fascinated to KMKs once again in 8th edition and started fielding 1x4, then 2x2 and finally 1x2. After experimenting the new orks I've learnt what KMKs really are, an alternative to gretchin. They're just objective campers, nothing more. Most of the times you don't even need static objective campers since they're quite vulnerable to deep striking units.

I like this idea, but if they got bonuses, it'd suddenly make Orks the best gunslingers in the galaxy.

I propose that Orks can't have shooting modifiers of any kind, to represent how their guns don't really care about "accuracy" but also that Orks can't really get better than their base instincts.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

The only thing in the Ork roster that gives a bonus to hit for shooting that I can think of is the Dakka Dakka Dakka rule on Dakkajets.

I think some have a Grot Gunner rule to make those weapons BS4+

Mainly for future proofing, like say a piece of fortification, terrain, or main rulebook psychic power grants +1 bs or something.

Maybe word it like so:

"ORK units are not affected by any rule which would modify their to-hit rolls unless that rule specifically states that it affects ORK units."

I know a few people here say the negative hit roles don't effect Orks too much but you haven't been playing games against factions that take advantage of this!
1. I can't advance and shoot (the one hing orks are supposed to have going for them... The whole point is that 5 or 10 shootas in my line can do 1 or 2 extra peices of damage before they overwatch on the way there).
2. I've seen games where shooting units like Morkanaut, Gorkanaut, Lootas... Can only hit on a 6 with their already stupidly expensive weapons or can't hit at all! Almost 400pts for a Morkanaut! And some guy bring a certain army and you can't even use the weapons?! It's not like it's a cheap model in both money and pts. This only hurts gw sales as why buy the expensive models if you're not going to use them... just buy the cheap £6 packet of boyz Or £4 if you get it at your local hobby store!
