Now at two thirds funded and rising!

I can't wait until we hit 100%, and I can reveal a new stretch goal...

Big jump over night, things are looking promising. New stretch goals sounds interesting as well.

Looks good! Any idea of how much shipping is likely to cost?

Shipping is included in the pledge system, and is only a couple of GBP in most cases. Plastic is light so I'm okay with not charging much for it. There will be no post-campaign "top ups" for shipping, all costs are up front.

Ah, cheers mate, I have only used kickstarter before which lists shipping on the main pledge and wanted to ask before signing up.
Just backed, looking forward to seeing how things go from here.

I'm looking forward to opening up the first stretch goal; we're 17% of the way there - we'll only need 6 pledges to open it up, if the average pledge rate stays at or near its current position!

I've now activated the Gothic Theme kits Stretch Goal for pledges - which means that four new Gothic Theme sets are now available for ordering!

The next stretch goal will be reached in just £400 more of pledges, and will upgrade the new Gothic Theme kit to include rear-side details (a Gothic cathedral-style rose window on the rear of the doorway panel, and double-sided arch details for the archway panel).

Please pledge and drive, pledge irresponsibly, and pledge before you leap.

Apropos of nothing, Hard Plastic Roads are now available for pledging!

The roads set is available in Small and Large sizes, and is compatible with our other scenery panel tiles, so that you can make dense urban areas that fit together seamlessly, or raised roadways using archway tiles, or... whatever else you can think of doing with hard plastic roads, really!

Please enjoy your pledging!

Thanks,

Will you make some kind of up/down ramp tile or is it a case of hobby saw to make raised roadways that link with ground ones? Project is looking good!

Roads look interesting. Any chance of a close up of the 3d images of the roads, ones on the ground and raised ones?

If we go high enough on the stretch goals, it's a priority to introduce angled roof tiles. On the reverse side of the angled roof, I'll put road details, thus making it also useful as an up/down ramp.

Ramps sounds cool, hopefully we will get there.

Added a large road set, so we should breach 2k soon

Thanks for the pictures.

I wonder if two or three road tiles joined together might stretch far enough, without being too steep an angle, to be a ramp. Should not be particularly difficult to chop up the supports to the right height to act as a ramp.

Indeed I expect that would be fine.

From yesterday's Update:

Hello Backers!

So, we're in the last couple of weeks of the campaign now, time for an Upgrade goal!?

Buttresses.

This here is a buttress. Ya'll add it to buildings to make the buildings pretty-like.

If we make it to £2600 pledged, all Gothic Sets will be upgraded to include two buttresses on each plastic sprue.

Yes, that's right, for every Hamlet sized set (10 sprues) purchased, you'll get twenty buttresses!

Also known as Butts.

Please pledge unwisely, because I'd like to include buttresses in every Gothic Set!

Thanks,

- The Team @ Troublemaker Games

From the Campaign:

Hello Backers!

So, we have achieved our £2600 stretch goal target of the free Buttresses on the Gothic Theme sprues, hooray!

Now, as the campaign looks unlikely to bring in enough cashola to open up the Cyberhive Theme tiles, I've suspended them until our next campaign (or unless we get a huge run on pledges in the next twelve hours, in which case they'll come back into play?!?), and the next Stretch Goal will now be at £3250 - Upgraded Details for the Mixed Theme Sprues.

In this Stretch Goal, the rear sides of the Industrial style panels, which currently are smooth & plain, will be upgraded to have some cool industrial details on them!

And to help us on our way, how about a fun Top Up extra?

Resin Domes!

These Resin Domes are now available for pledging in two different kit sizes, 4x Domes or 10x Domes. They're sized to fit onto the plastic building tiles, and add some cool aesthetic choices for your gaming table.

As a Top Up, only Backers that pledge for a Plastic Buildings Set of Hamlet size or above are eligible to pledge for them, and there will be no extra postage & packaging charge for Domes.

Thanks for listening!

There is another update and stretch goal, but I'll post it since Troublemaker Games seems to have gone to bed!

"Hello Backers!

I'm about to head to bed now, but pledges are really roaring, so I hope when I wake up we'll have crossed the current Stretch Goal target of £3250...

...so I'll institute a new Stretch Goal!

If we make it to £3750, everyone who has pledged to the campaign will receive a campaign-exclusive 6mm scale Brandon The Architect model, absolutely free. This figure will represent a genius logistician-lord of the Cybershadows faction from the Defeat In Detail range, perfect as representative of the builder of our vast tabletop cityscapes.

Thanks for your backing everyone!

- The Team @ Troublemaker Games"

From the campaign:

Hello Backers!

First of all, thank you all, for the support that has been shown to the project, it's now time for the TMG team to take an expensive holiday!

No, I'm kidding, now the real work starts! :-)

We'll be finalizing the production order for the new moulds with the tooling factory shortly, and look forward to receiving production samples of all the new designs next month.

In the mean time, I've also activated Indiegogo's "InDemand" system, which means that we can still accept pledges through the Indiegogo page for a period of time even though the countdown clock has stopped - which means we could still reach £3750, and unlock that final Stretch Goal target...

Go on, you know you really need two hundred gothic Resin Domes... Maybe even three hundred!

Yes, definitely three hundred. And fifty.

Also, you want to build a real house out of plastic scenery tiles, and you're fairly sure that charitable donations of gothic buttresses to orphanages is a moral obligation...

...Stay tuned for photos of the team on holiday on the moon exciting production updates!

Thanks,

- The Team @ Troublemaker Games

Another update?

Tooling Ordered, plus a new plastic set UNLOCKED?!?!
Hi Backers!

So, it's taken us a couple of weeks of back and forth work with our toolers, and we've now ordered the sprue moulds to be created... and here's one last surprise...

Plastic Gothic Details

We've now unlocked Gothic Details sets for purchase!

The sprues contain bridge support arches, quarter-arches, and parapets, and we hope you like them!?

Sprue Layout

The sprue mould has already been ordered, so they'll be delivered alongside the rest of the moulds for ~late November...

...so, if you want to add a top-up of Gothic Details Sprues to your pledge, we'll keep the Indiegogo funding page running for another week or so in order to take orders for them.

Thanks for all the support!
