Yeah but how much was that dragon when bought new? Yard sales, car boot sales and auctions can be fantastic places to pick up bargains that you'd not get anywhere else. Heck my dad got several boxes of brand new beer glasses for £1 - you couldn't buy the raw glass to produce them for that little, let alone heat the glass and shape it.

Some of the countryside sales can be treasure troves of old stuff being chucked out. Books, DVD, music and TVs will sell for next to nothing; whilst large furniture will sell for very little - so if you've got a van/large car/trailer you can make a steal on them (whilst others are factoring in hiring someone to move it at extra cost).

Probably 30-50 bucks for the statue. Just saying 2k for a model is insane.

Another really awesome dragon you can snag is Archeon's Dorghar. Not cheap but a stunning model when painted. It's the largest plastic model GW makes. I have seen some fantasic conversion giving him a more dragon type head.

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.
