Is the 'modern' A-Wing even any different from the old one? The pictures from the set seem to all look the same. It'll probably be in a Resistance "Veterans" box or something.

It's slightly different, kind of like the T-70 compared to the T-65.

Hopefully the guns are now big enough to justify Firepower 3

Has there been any clear pics to show it? Cause they show up in the trailer so quickly it's hard to tell. I kinda wish they had used E-Wings instead though.

You can google the toy's image, and you can see one in the hangar scene before everything blows up. But that's about it at the moment.

It feels less like an Elise and almost like an old Lincoln Continental.

Wow, the differences still are very very subtle, I might go on a limb here and say they won't make a resistance A-wing per se, but might add a new title, kinda like how they did with the Vaksai being the replacement of the Kihraxz.

So, we had a little inpromptu event last night, a 35 pts furball. We allowed proxies for the soon to be released Guns for Hire, and someone thought that if we said that, then he could bring a Trajectory Mapper on his TIE Punisher.

He's a rarely seen player, but one of the oldies, from what I gathered. Suffice it to say, no one could agree on what the card does, but he kept insisting that he's read the article on how it works "somewhere on the internet."

To me, it was just a very graceless move, followed by an unwillingness to admit he might be mistaken. We ended up voting on it and everyone except him preferred not to see an unknown mechanic in play.

It, like a lot of the stuff from the new Star Wars flicks, bears a strong resemblance to old McQuarrie concept art.
