There making the administration, the colleges, the police look pretty damn stupid.
There basically not saying anything much and they turning it into somthing massive. There making themselves look like total idiots.
while the reaction is a bit much, lets also not make it out like this is something clever or biting.
When something like this gets posted, it's done in a way and place intended to draw a reaction like this. The message is not innocent, it's implying that there's some sort of prevailing narrative that says it's not ok to be white, and when people see through it and treat it as the provocation it is, then that reaction is used as evidence of hypocrisy to fuel e-hype and further e-outrage. The ultimate point isn't really about reverse discrimination or hypocrisy, it's about making people upset for its own sake to fuel the other end of the outrage machine.
