Well over the December period I'll be posting more stories as the feedback from you and Squiggle has been very helpful. Hopefully I'll be able to offer useful comments on other authors' work too.

As for the monsters: ha, how intriguing! Did you ever watch Stranger Things?

Well, for anyone reading this who has been participating in Nanowrimo, there are only 6 minutes of it left. My best friend managed to hit the 50,000 word target tonight and this was her first ever attempt at Nanowrimo. I haven't achieved all my initial aims in terms of the number of stories to complete, but I have made huge, overwhelmingly exciting progress on 20K, some older HH fiction and the new Barmy Army Xmas special. I've joined two new forums, signed up to a new HH project, got to know some very interesting people, and now find myself supercharged with enthusiasm and motivation for writing in a way that has never been there before.

There have been painful lessons, hard-fought victories and plenty of memories along the way. So whoever you are out there reading these words, whether you did 100 words or 100,000, it's time to breathe a sigh of relief, give yourself the most hearty slap on the back and reflect on what you've achieved. And don't ever be too self-critical: the worst you've ever written is better than the best you never wrote.

Goodnight and thanks to everyone who's been part of this thread.

Upcoming work for 2022:
* Calgar's Barmy Pandemic Special
* Battle Sisters story (untitled)
* T'au story: Full Metal Fury
* 20K: On Eagles' Wings
* 20K: Gods and Daemons
