Just did a quick skim and didn't see this mentioned yet, but what if GW had Drop Pods bypass the turn 1 deepstriking Beta rules?

If you could pay the points to drop outside of your own deployment turn 1 would it be worth it then? I've been thinking about emailing GW to suggest this.

Thoughts?

That's half of what they did in 6E/7E, where that restriction existed (in effect).
