New Pledge Level - Grab Bag

I've added a new $100 pledge level called Grab Bag which provides some additional flexibility in selecting which miniatures you want if the miniatures in existing pledges don't float your boat.

You can select any four (4) $12 miniatures and any two (2) $32 miniatures for $100 which is $12 cheaper than if you got them all individually. So you could think of it as getting a $12 miniature for free.

It isn't full carte blanche to select anything because that is just too difficult to manage and control. But I think it is a good in-between pledge for those that want more than $50 but don't want to go all in at $300 or more. And those at the $300 level still get a slightly better deal along with their early shipping so I think it is fair for everyone.

know getting free stuff is always a fun part of a KS. I've been where you are So I crunched some numbers and if we can reach 15k then I will give every backer at the $12 or above level the ability to choose a single miniature from the graphic below to receive for FREE. These are all $12 or lower miniatures and if others in this range get unlocked before the end of the KS those will be added to the list as well.



I'm also working on some other items so keep an eye out! I've also made a few cosmetic changes to the front page like adding costs to the pledge map, moving the add-ons further up the page, etc.

So if you want a free miniature get pledging, get a friend to join, spread the word or whatever you can do so we can get everyone a free critter!

So we are now passed $13,000 which means Damsumah is unlocked in all his scaley glory. I've updated the pledge map as well as moved him into the add-on section.

Since we only have one miniature left to go in Collection A, the might Pirig Utag, I've added a graphic for Collection B to the main campaign page. As you will see, Dagon is up first in this collection followed by the lovely Lillaen.

Dagon is part of the Elite leadership caste and is roughly equivalent to a general. The sharp eyed among you may have spotted him on the new KS image and battle scene I posted a couple days ago.



The Lillaen are Cultist leaders. They were once human females but gave themselves freely over to the power of Cthulhu and were 'blessed' with a new form and abilities.


New All in Collection A Pledge Level Coming

Finally, I am currently working on a graphic for an "all-in" pledge that includes everything in Collection A. That should be going up later today. I've received several requests for this so if you are one of those that want it all, keep an eye out!

One of my goals with this Kickstarter is to fulfill as quickly as possible once it ends. Like you, I've backed projects and one of the things that is hardest about backing is waiting months (or longer!!) for the KS to fulfill its pledges. That's why I've already starting packaging up the pledge levels I can right now, specifically the early bird pledges. I have all 20 of the 'Whole Squad' Early Bird and "Everything Ready to Ship" Early Bird pledges packed up and ready for shipping.

Early Bird Pledges

All they're waiting for is the box and address label! I will be pre-packing as much as possible for the other pledge levels as well over the next few days so that I can get these out the door and into your hands as quickly as possible once the KS ends and payment clears.

For the post KS survey I will be using Backerkit. There you will be able to select your pledge level, add your shipping, select any add-on's, etc. I'm working on setting that up currently as well so the surveys can go out shortly after the KS ends. I'll post more on the post KS process soon.

Pledge Management and Fulfilment

As we are approaching the end of the KS folks are likely curious about how they will be able to manage their pledge and when fulfilment will start. So here are the basic steps in the near future:

Step 1 – Waiting Period

There is a two week post-Kickstarter waiting period because it can take upwards of two weeks for all payments to clear, backers to fix declined payments, KS to take their cut, etc. During this time I will also be finalizing the pledge manager.

Step 2 - BackerKit

Once the waiting period is over an email will be sent to all backers so they can manage their pledge, select their rewards, pay shipping, correct shipping address, add more items etc. This will be handled through Backerkit. For those not familiar with BackerKit, it is a great system for automating the pledge management process and is very easy to use.

BackerKit Note: As stated, BackerKit is a great tool for automating the pledge management process. That being said, automation (or the person setting it up) sometimes does not account for every conceivable scenario. If you run into an issue or question please DO NOT PANIC! Just shoot me a message or an email and I can help work it out for you. So if something seems off just let me know and I will help fix it.

Step 3 – Early Bird Shipments

Early bird pledges will be sent out as soon as the survey has been completed by those with an EB pledge. So those who want their rewards as soon as possible, be sure to fill out the survey when it comes in.

Step 4 – Remaining Shipments

The rest of the rewards will be fulfilled in the order in which surveys are completed and miniatures are available. I will fulfill everything I can out of the existing inventory. For those pledges waiting on additional miniatures to finish being produced, they will be shipped once casting is completed. While the KS states December 2018 for fulfillment, I suspect it will be MUCH sooner than that.

Split Shipping: If you have an EB pledge and are adding miniatures that are not part of the original pledge the EB items will ship first and any items not ready to ship will go out when they are ready in a later second shipment. For everyone else, rewards will ship once all items are packaged and ready to go.

Ongoing Communication

I will continue to post updates on the process as things move along. One of my biggest peeves of a KS is when it goes radio silent for long periods of time. I will endeavor to post updates at least once a week, if not more. Even if it is just a “things are the same as last week” type of post. I will also keep an eye on the KS chat and answer there if questions come up.

Shipping

I have updated the shipping FAQ. I’ve made it a little easier to figure out what shipping will look like at each pledge level. This takes into consideration the miniatures that are included in that pledge. If you add more miniatures then additional shipping will be added based on weight. This is all handled in BackerKit. So if you add more items you will see two shipping lines. One for the base pledge and the other for the items you’ve added. More information is in the FAQ so be sure to check it out.
