New Zealand doesn't have emus though, they had moas but only until 1300-1440s. They don't really have any dangerous animals at all besides the few spiders that try to invade from Australia I guess.

Again ignorance. Automatic weapons are illegal to buy sell or trade. The only except ion is fir firearms before 1986 that are specially licensed. I don't believe any crime has been committed with a legally licensed automatic firearm...ever.

Even blind squirrels find nuts once in a while. One variation from the standard doesn't negate the trend. Otherwise certain people on this forum would also have to admit that FOX isn't biased.

There has been one crime committed by a legally owned assault rifle. It was a cop. Civilian versions have been used on occasion in mass shootings.

Illegally owned assault rifles (and semi-auto versions thereof) have been used in several crimes, but pistols account for some 90% of gun casualties, and shotguns cover the majority of the rest.

Which makes banning civilian versions of military rifles pretty pointless, in my opinion.

See autos are not assault rifles.
