So update, the sun was up and the windows provided a better lighting conditions for photos:

Also I started today on my second project for the month, an Escort Ship.... some assembly required:

Today's work was beginning on the turret:

The interior has lots of structure as the barrel can turn and thus I needed to make sure it would not break while people torqued on it.

Comments, concerns, critiques.... all welcome!

Thanks for looking.

An excellent showing! Gotta say that I am really digging both the general aesthetics of the goblin sky pirates as well as the details you put in your conversions. I have only one critique: the larger skyship looks a tad front-heavy, like it needs one more small lift capsule in front of the larger one. But otherwise, I have nothing to add. (Except that the goblins with the harpoon guns look Amazing).

Thanks. but well I'm calling the Ironclad done.

More work on the Escort, I've added the outrigger/engine builds:

Comments welcome,

PS: think this one is going to need a larger lifter unit.

Yes! as this whole army is a Counts as Kharadron Overlords, so basically that model is a Grundstock Gunhauler an escort for my IronClad.

So update, I needed a hero so I made a Goblin Engineer or something not sure what he'll do. He might be a Lord Ordnator or an Endrinmaster:

Great work on the outfitters in particular on the escort, and the whole piece overall.

And that's some lovely exo-suit you've crafted on the gobbo.

Beautiful work

Thanks for all the comments.

So another update, the Hero Goblin is done, I am thinking about building a couple more of him, though I need to figure out more torsos that will work as I don't want them to be too uniform as these guys are ramshackle.

The arms were lined on to make painting easier:

So I changed gears and Well after playing the Kharadon for some time and getting beat pretty solidly I decided to change to an Iron Weld Arsenal List and run Steam Tanks and Cannons, basically if I am going to lose I will play with Tanks the things I really like.

So the Restart:

The Goblin bases are old Night Goblins and the arms are from a bunch of different bits, the guns are Empire Hand Gunners, so the marks man:

The Basic Trooper:

And the Piper, this guy is super important to the unit as it allows them to stand and shoot when they charged:

And the beginnings of a steam tank, I'm roughing out the size as I am waiting on an Ebay steam tank, this one's boiler is a killa kan body:

Stank is proper brick right now

Are you not able to ally in your KO ships to your IWA groundpounders? At least one should fit, unless they're way more expensive then I realize. EDIT: Or maybe you're just doing Mixed Order to fit everything in there? Realizing IWA don't have battleline options.

Also I just noticed your sprue-paved bases, nice

OH in larger games I'm bringing the Ironclad to add some serious Punch, but I'm going Mid to long rage shooting army. Kharadron Overlords are close range army.

So I switched gears on the Steam Tank, ebay hooked me up with an old steam tank.... then I started looting it:

I ended tonight with this, I was aiming for more of a Dragster Look and make it more Killa, so I upside'd the boiler and made it metal, also built a new turret, made new rear wheels and mounted them:

Well here is the finished project. I will start painting it later this week, then I need to find another steam tank to Orkify / "loot"

And all the parts seperated, I am going to paint it in pieces and assemble when I am done.
