Surprised no one has mentioned the confirmation that being base to base with multiple models essentially locks down your pile ins; you have to end at least as close to all of them.
I don't think this ruling was that surprising really. It's just the logical, normal application of the rule, imo.
This makes big chaff units a lot "better" since you can hug a scary unit and prevent them from "sliding" from model to model to get around a wall.

Right, that's what it does, but you don't think sliding 24" across 40 clanrats spaced in two ranks just with pile ins was a bit silly?
Wait, I have to stop you there. That is too silly a rule to be true? In Age of Sigmar?

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Hang on I need to summon my daemons of Khorne by screaming BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD as loud as I possibly can, thus granting me an additional five Bloodletters.

I've never been good at spotting the differences in errata for armies I don't play, but people seem to be less upset about Seraphon now. Other than Kroak's rule, what if anything changed?

1000 Tzeentch Arcanites (Pyrofane Cult - Hysh) in progress

Banner bearers only work within range of the caster, before they were a table wide buff. Something changed with engine of the gods to not be spammable or atleast you dont want more than one, at least from what I've heard. Ripper's can't get infinite hit combos with their beaks and instead make d3 attacks per beak hit.

Nearly 3k+ points of Slaanesh (AoS)
2500 points of Ironjawz
Too many points of Space Marines.

Okay. All of those seem like good changes. Seraphon still seem like they'll be strong, but not the only show in town.

I’m apparently blind and can’t see it. Where is it stated that Sylvaneth wyldwoods count as citadel woods for rules purposes?

A.) The Sylvaneth Wyldwoods Warscroll says they’re made up of 1-3 Citadel Woods.

2.) The Sylvaneth Designers Commentary says the Overgrown Wilderness rule does indeed apply to them.

they are given the same rule that you cannot see more than 1" through them. So sylvaneth in middle of their woods cannot be shot, but they also cannot shoot out of them.
