Why not do an Art Deco version regardless? Not enough of those around generally, regardless of compatibility with certain other aesthetics.

We have a set of 28mm Art Deco ruins that we will be re-releasing shortly... it just needs the onceover for the new card thickness and also some instructions.

Those look great! You are the first person outside our test builders who have published the builds. Were they ok to put together?
We are slowly chipping away at the backlog of all the instructions. Here they are for "Door Set A Instructions" (part of the DIY series).
If you don't know about this series, these sets are for people that want to make their own terrain out of cardboard packaging or odds and ends, and only want a few details to finish things off

Yup, they're simple to assemble, and I'm really impressed with how solid they are. And as a converter, I love that the card is solid enough for assembly, but much easier to cut up than MDF for making modifications.
It might be nice if you could offer another pack or two with different detailing on the outside of the containers - same basic shape, but representing different models of container, or different shipping lines' versions of that design.
But as is, I'm super-happy with them, and looking forward to getting some paint on them. Also planning something a little different for the next one I build...

There are two rooftop unit, four wall units and fourteen vents in each set

Hi
If you bought up to 3 of the DIY items it would be $2.69
If you bought one of each (6 in total) it would be $4.70
If you wanted to add tracking , it costs an extra $3

A quick look around the web will show you plenty of tables covered in lovely MDF scenery that is mostly unpainted.
There is a good reason for this - scenery pieces have large flat areas that are intimidating (and expensive) to paint with a brush and hobby paints.
Having an airbrush is also a luxury.
On top of that, given that you might have several pieces from the same range that you want to tie together with a similar paint scheme, the whole project can start to look overwhelming.
One option is to use aerosol spraypaints. These are cheap, can be purchased at any hardware store, and come in a fairly good range of colours.
Here are two quick and easy paint schemes for the ziggurat using hardware store aerosol spray paints.
Yes, you are right This is not meant to be an award-winning paint strategy. It is meant as a quick and easy way to turn a large number of unpainted models into something table-top ready.
"Dawn of War"
The model was undercoated matt black. The edges and corners were given a light, fast pass with green.
The edges were then given an edge highlight of silver.
After that the glyphs were filled with standard green and then given a thin line of light green.
The edges of the glyphs were given a drybrush with the green to represent the glow
"Egyptian Gold"
The model was undercoated matt black.
The edges and corners were given a light, fast pass with bronze.
The main glyphs and all corners were given a quick blast of rose gold
The edges were then given an edge highlight of bone.
The entire model was given a thin wash of nuln oil
After that the glyphs were filled with troll slayer orange and then given a thin line of light orange.
The edges of the glyphs were given a drybrush with the orangeto represent the glow

This recut worked out very well. This is the smaller, more compact version. It easily hides a knight and critically, it is under 300 grams. Huzzah! And would cost $13

Yep, was going to make do with DZC buildings, but I think I'll pick up a few of these, if only for the focal point of the table.
@NealRC do you have a launch date yet, and can you confirm what flavor of dollars your website is in? (I'd assumed US, but then saw it's an SA site with links to Oz and I'm now confused!)

Launch date is still a couple of weeks away - we want to launch with three big buildings and then some smaller ones that will block LOS to knights etc (to start we will be scaling down the brownhouses to this scale)
We'll be running another test cut this week and should have the results early next week
The website is in USD - if in doubt you can always click the currency dropdown at the top of the screen

The chibi PzKpfw IV was made smaller as the previous version was too large. We dialed it down a little too much as you can see...this version is too small now.
It has been resized up again and will be recut, with some extra changes to the road wheels. Once this is done, it will be ready for production with SET 1

The brownstones are finished - as soon as the build instructions are finished and the printing done, thy will be released. The three sets are more or less identical, except for the architectural details at the top and on the front and rear window frames.
The production costs for each kit are slightly different but we have averaged the costs so they will all be the same: US$14.95.
Postage will be US$4.6 per item

Save 20% - Get one of each brownstone - they are $13.95 for one, or $33.50 for all three
Sometimes also called townhouses or rowhouses, these iconic buildings are strongly associated with New York, and by extension all fictional cities based off it.

It is made of layers of 1.2mm thick card, and is supplied unpainted and unassembled in a flat pack.
Instructions are included in the kit

Those brownstones look nice. Any chance of making them with modular floors & roofs, so you can have some with fewer or more levels, and able to place models inside, say shooting out of a 3rd floor window?

Nope but they are super easy to convert as you just have to cut through 2.4mm card
