Very cool table, glad they’ve released more stowage.

Do wish spectre would release a bit more of a jungle range, maybe some Chinese forces to fight some scenarios against some usmc.

Good to see a battlereport and your Humvees on the table, though I find your use of the word squad disturbing, they are sections!
I am surprised that the ambush was just driven into so easily, was that delibrate on the part of the player?
Hope to see more of these reports mate.

That game looked really fun. I was a bit surprised the Blufor didn't space out a bit more when they drove past that suspicious white car as well.

Thanks to both of you! It was a really fun game to play.

I'm hoping to get a few more games in soon, playing reminded me how long it had been since I last put figure on table.

WELP, time for me to go back in the box for squad/section misuse :|

The BLUFOR players had been told it was unlikely to be IEDs in theatre but it was still possible. I did like how it was the US SF player who stopped well clear of the suspect vehicle while the local force rolled in without a care in the world

Tsk, Tsk.

If you do a follow up battle like you mentioned what ruleset were you thinking of? Spectre? Love to see a building clearing op carrying on the narrative.

It will depend on what the guys I'm playing with decide but it will probably be Skirmish Sangin using the Plausible Deniability book's additional rules.

But first, I need to finish off painting the pile of buildings I have in my flat :v

They look really good mate, never heard of the manufacturer before but they seem like nice casts. Look forward to seeing them in a game.

Manufacturer is taking a little break due to the whole "new born child" thing - he does have lots of cool things planned.

Great looking stuff. Moderns is one of the genres I've always considered...but would have to carry the load for the local group since they're lazy. Might convince myself to try it sometime. Have some really cool/intriguing areas I'd like to pursue.

Love your paintwork and the miniature selection.

Thanks for the comments! I kind of take the weight at my club but it's mainly because I don't play much else.

Today's post is up and we're taking a look at Spectre's SWAT guys. Except I've painted them up slightly differently

Blog posting twice a week is really hard.

I think once a week or twice a month is a much more sane pace.
