No, It is not. By your definition You can say any living person is undead, because they are a soul possessing a body. Do you consider the "daughters of khaine" to be undead? they are souls with a magically grown body.

Aelves in the Realms basically didn't exist at first beyond the few god-like beings that managed to survive the end of the world. Morathi was the first of those who managed to escape from Slaanesh and she, with the others, wove magic to catch and imprison Slaanesh.

With him caged the Aelf gods/godlike beings started to harvest souls from his belly; with those souls they then started to forge new bodies for the Aelf people.

From those the Idoneth appear to have an error in construction which prevents their new bodies gaining souls upon birth, making them essentially soul vampires. They are not undead, but they are not quite the same as alive in the full sense. Sort of like they are stuck half way in limbo between the two states.

Daughters of Khaine also breed well, once Morathi had made some the rest self-populated whilst she was still gaining souls for her people.

The subject is actually one that could be quite deep but so far we only have a rough outline of how the whole soul thing for Aelves works and how souls are moved around and born for new bodies or reborn into new bodies etc..

Stormcast are also not quite undead even though they would be akin to the same sort of thing. They are more that they have their souls preserved and then placed into fresh bodies. They are closer to reborn than they are raised from the dead. They have their soul; its just their broken body that is replaced.

Again, you're ignoring the fact that the soul was DEAD and the body they're possessing WAS NOT THEIR OWN BODY.

The soul was not dead(a dead soul does not exist), And the body they have is their own body made new(reforged) and is created from the soul memory.

Couldn't get mine to fit on the included base, but luckily I had a spare 170x105mm oval lying around.
