Went ahead and started a Nuzlocke run.

I'm one gym down and two casualties in, two-thirds of the party consists of grass types, and I have to get past a trainer with a Ponyta.

Arceus help this game's RNG, because when I'm through with everyone else, I'm coming for it.

Gonna do a playthtrough of Red again where I do Cinnabar Gym as third gym. Last time I did I only got past Blaine with Double Team spam and after trying seven times, this time I'm skipping the Rocket Game Corner too. Probably gonna be around 26-27 when I face Blaine.

Starting to wonder when we’ll get Gen IV in Pokemon Go. It’s been nearly a year since the Halloween Event that kicked off Gen III, and I’ve nearly complete my Pokédex.

Got lucky and got an Absol from the research tasks, and a Spinda the first time it was offered. Will have to try and get another though since apparently the current task gives you one with a different spot pattern, which is a thing I’ve only learned about last night. Man those are rare tasks though.

I've got Salamence, Slaking, and Flygon to go. Allso haven't managed to hatch a Chimecho either.

Seems Mewtwo is coming to raids as of 20 September (so a week or so), and 7k eggs will be hatching Kanto region exclusives.

Meh, Charizard wasn't quite as awesome in his early sprite and artwork. I was originally a Bulbasaur fan for what its worth. I generally flip between Fire or Grass starters tough. Very few water picks.

Blastoise was my favorite Gen 1, but Charizard has definitely grown on me over the years. The megas are sweet.

Still love Feraligator though.

None of the Gen2 starters endear me. I'm not sure exactly why I never gave Totodile a real look. Played Cyndaquil at the time and Chikorita on a second playthrough, but that's one of my least favorite trios, just ahead of the Gen 5 guys.

I’ve always been partial to water starters myself. Exceptions would be Blaziken I G3 and Seperior in G5. I never got around to the most recent gen but I liked the grass Owl starter a lot too.

The gator I like for his art style. His secret ability being Sheer Force just reminded me of him after all the years. Really fun ability with a life orb and Dragon Dance.

Well, he didn't have any of that stuff when he was actually the starter.

I tend to switch between grass and fire with the exception of Greninja because Greninja. Didn't play Gen 5 though. The new Pokemon didn't really excite me that much.

Yeah. Def feel like G5 was something of a low point. Not bad. Bad isn’t the right word, but compared to 1-4 and then 6, 5 feels like the weakest one.
