I found Zog to be insufferable. The ‘grumpy New Yorker’ thing just doesn’t work for me at all.

I so far found Final Space to have much more heart as a show and a cartoon despite being filled with tropes.

One of the running gags I really like is how, when they're hiding something from him (badly) he'll loudly list all the specific areas he's inspecting explicitly not mentioning the hiding place until the end.

It was really hard watching the first few episodes, and I would have given up if it wasn't for missing Futurama.

It does get a lot better in the last 3 episodes though, and I hope they can find their footing.

Elfo is a very very poor mans Fry.

I binged it one Saturday while painting - that way, it was probably more tolerable than if I'd been just watching it.

So far, Futurama seasons 1-4 has been Matt Groening's high water mark in my opinion. (and I started watching that having become disappointed by The Simpsons).
Hopefully Disenchanted can improve.

The comedy "ultraviolence" fell a bit flat - the oddly bloodless decapitations, maimings, etc. didn't quite work for me.
