Cheers Cavboss I'll put up some scale shots with a GW Dreadnaught and some other models at some point soon.

Heres the Scale shot slightly smaller than Dreadnaught sized significantly bigger than Marine size.

Sad news in the latest update. The dropship won't be entering the fray.

Has been added to the Coreset as an extra bonus. So thats 48 models at $2 per model not too shabby at all. Really surprised that more people aren't showing an interest in this.

I'm a bit surprised too. It's a great deal. I wasn't planning on getting the dropship anyway (though once I'd seen it, maybe I'd change my mind?), but I was very excited about all the cool add-ons for vehicles. Unfortunately, they're part of a series of stretch goals that we haven't hit, and won't likely reach...

I'm in for vehicles and maybe one or two of the mechs. A big pledge with many multiples of similar looking mechs is pretty much the opposite of what I want from Plastic Generic Robots CAV.

If they had a smaller sampler pledge or a tread heads pledge with some savings behind it, it might attract more pledges from people who want to dip their toes in or build a DZC force or something.

He did that for the last KS? Opened up the "add ons" that weren't met as stretch goals, at the last minute?

CAVBoss has said in the comments that he likely won't do that, so I wonder if it was too expensive last time. Hopefully he can make the math work, as those new vehicles are so darn cool looking.

Taking a closer look at what's currently available, I may have to spring for a few of those vehicles and fliers while waiting on this KS to deliver!

I'll send a message to the CAV boss and see what happens. For now, I'm in for add ons. I'll pick up a few things that seem like a better deal than waiting for retail, making sure my money goes towards the types of vehicles I would like to see more of.

so you may well see a decent boost coming in the next day or two

I would certainly rather have a ton of nice CAVs to use with either that game or an Indie ruleset like Mech Attack, than wait around for whatever Catalyst is going to do with Battletech (probably handle stocking and releases badly, as per their history).

Nice to hear! I was in on most of the Reaper Bones KS... But didn't get any note yet. (but then, I'm already on board!)

Great increase in the numbers and now if you back the Dropship pledge you get the entire value in credit so it's worth looking at if your after the core set and stretch goals or in fact looking at $25 or more one the postage anyway!

They just tossed in grav tank add ons, and another stretch goal (that we hadn't quite hit yet), so now it's 52 big robot models for $100. A great deal.

Me too. I only wish there was a way to make the other add ons happen. I'd happily pay a higher add-on price, if that might cover the mold-making costs. Those other four vehicles look super cool too!

QUICK UPDATE ON THE KICKSTARTER AS WE GO INTO THE LAST THREE DAYS! The Core set now includes over 50 CAVs (Mechs) for one single pledge level!

We have also add TERRAIN! (10mm Scale).

As we march into the final three days of the KS, I wanted to cap off the campaign with something spectacular (at least in my opinion)...
So, with that in mind, I give you the Terrain Expansion Set! Containing over 100 model pieces, the Terrain Expansion Set provides a wide array of unique pieces to use across the battlefield. While designed with CAV in mind (and in 10mm scale), the Terrain Expansion Set can be used for a variety of games and scales!!!

That terrain set looks amazing. I would love to see a scale shot with some DZC or AT minis, if possible.

This project looks sweet. With the terrain add-on, one surely has everything needed to play any number of generic mech games. But do I really need another huge box for the "maybe someday" pile...?

In principle I like tanks more than mechs too, but what are you gonna use them for?

I have DZC, and could use the tanks and aircraft for that. I'm also pretty sure I could find rules online that would work for them, be they One Page or some 28mm rules stretched past their comfort zone. Really, though, I just want to have tanks and vehicles, and 28mm tanks are too big and too expensive.

The few CAV mechs I do buy are the ones with less prominent cockpits that can pass as warbots in 28mm.

Just a reminder we are down to the last six hours (ends at 6 pm CST) and we have another stretch goal in sight! Would add another CAV and vehicle!
