I do hope there will be alternate sculpts for the German soldiers and zombies. 10 of each in the same pose...

I like the minis, and will keep an eye out. Maybe this is the WW2 skirmish game I didn't know I wanted. The guy pistol gripping two Vickers heavy machine guns is stupid, though. There's no water for the cooling jackets! And the ammo is FAR too little. And the trigger mechanism is all wrong. Plus, regardless of the feed, the side ports are ejecting brass inward. And they're 40 lbs with pistol grips - he won't be hitting the broadside of a barn with them.

Yes, I'm fairly certainly we've been over that, and the reply has been that they'll make sure the design team gets the news.
Hopefully things aren't set in stone yet, and it can be modified.

While one other person xommented, the sheer stupidity of the design is just laughable, so I don't feel bad in giving my comments. Weird War is still supposed to be grounded in the actual war. Otherwise, it might as well be 40k

I kind of like the double-gun guy, reminds me of over the top characters from the covers of pulp magazines, which fits the era narrative. Box art plays to this as well.
They could keep the majority of the existing sculpt as is then just change the barrels and stock to convey a new fictional design.
Cool looking mech and genetic monstrosity. I'll keep an eye on this.
Nicely painted.

The word got a long history, apparently originating in a novel by Edward Bulwer-Lytton, published anonymously in 1871
and describes an ancient race with parapsychological powers
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vril
and is later tied into the occult mythology of the Third Reich, modern neo-Nazis and writers of books/videogames etc

It is also what Bovril is named after (along with Bovine).
Vril doe have a long standing association with the occult side of the Third Reich so fitting it is used here.

I love anything Weird War and the thought of a dungeon / castle / city crawl sounds really refreshing. I'm not big on co-op mechanics, so we'll see how that pans out, but I look forward to possibly supporting.
Remember the original video game castle wolfenstein? I'm pondering the potential for this, and it is immense. Thanks and good luck.

I have to admit, when I saw the reichbusters models, it never occured to me to think that the "two-gun Bob" might be a tad on the unrealistic side...
You know, with the mech-suits and science-zombies and all that...

Looking good so far but for proper nazi exploitation three things are still missing:
1. Old, battle-scared nazi officer with monocle.
2. Absent-minded and crazy nazi scientist along with his trusted AI computer the size of a huge cupboard.
3. Sadistic nazi BDSM head nurse with her sexy staff.
I am glad that you did not took efforts to introduce a cannon fodder (e.g.: subhumans) unit like that spanish company decided to do. Also thumbs up for the nazi zombies and the german mech. The german grunts could have been given gas masks to dehumanize them otherwise you will feel sorry when you shoot the soldiers. Remember, these guys have family, too.

Nice looking minis! I do prefer weird war to 'real/historically accurate' stuff.
Are you planning on having Nazi Cybergorillas? I have no idea why, but that seem to be a reoccurring theme in Weird War 2 stuff?

Probably not in this one but if there's demand for more then talking apes are high on my list. I'm fond of them in pulps/supers. Brains in jars too.
