My guess is once they get enough social media hits they'll unlock the vamps as an add on.
Hopefully those scifi snakes are lurking somewhere in this campaign as well...
I'm not planning on bothering with the magnets. At least not initially- I might give it a shot some day down the line, but it's probably a lot easier to just glue the stuff together.
I want more roof/ floor pieces though.
Surprised they aren't going the Battlesystems route and tossing more pieces they plan on putting on a sprue eventually, much like how Battlesystems tends to have repeated extra scatter bits you can use on the sheets.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
Seems like with random modular assembly, magnet polarity problems are going to rear their ugly heads pretty quickly withoug some really good planning. There are a bunch of plug pieces for any "extra" holes, but I'm not sure how they help.

It looks like you get a good deal more here than w GW's Sector Imperialis Killzone, which is their best value. In general, I think GW's imperialis stuff is grossly overpriced compared to their other terrain. Compare the starter pledge to GW's Administratum, which is also $50. GW's is basically an "L" and a small piece of scatter, which you could more than replicate with this. The short walls look to be about 4" long and 2.4" high, w the tall pieces around 4" long and 5" high, and you get 8 tall and 13 short pieces. If anyone has GW measurements we could be more exact, but I'm lazy.
Of course, you can actually get your GW terrain immediately, and you will get your GW terrain if you pay for it...
This looks very nice, but Prodos aren't exactly killing it with their KS track record. Quite the opposite, in fact!

But GW doesnt make Kazumi style stuff.
AVP aside, what's Archon/Prodoss done recently? Looks like Load, Re-Load and Vanguard of War all shipped, though late.
I took a look at this KS, fell in love with the MesoAmerican set, scratched my head at the prices, and then my brain said 'this seems far-fetched', and then my brain went 'Oh, I bet it's Archon'.
It's a shame people keep getting roped into their hustle.

They seem to have delivered on their last 4 projects. I've asked, but not received a response - what have they done badly other than AVP? Certainly a clusterfeth, but over 5 years old and a fair portion of that was tied to license issues, which don't exist w this project.
I never got an order from New Wave either, but have a ton of CMON stuff. Sometimes companies get it together.
Not to mention the complete clusterfeth that was the Warzone fulfilment. It appears from what I've read in the past few months that there are still quite a few people who are still missing their AVP stuff.
No, I'm not going to go look it up for you, because I don't especially care enough . If you want(ed) to back this, good for you, but Prodos aren't especially competent/trustworthy in my eyes, so I'm going to skip them and instead buy things that I can and will actually get (immediately, no less!) If you want to take this particular gamble with your money, then go right ahead and I hope you get your stuff in high quality and in a timely manner.
From the Chronicle X Update (thanks to Dan on the Reaper forums) :
"We at Archon regularly provide production to other companies, but due to payment issues with one such company (Ninja Division) our management was forced to work on plan B to secure the business. The potential loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars, brought about by this undertaking, forced us to slow development on several projects, such as “Call of the Void”. Instead we had to focus on the implementation of new technologies that would allow us to create plastic injection (of a top tier quality) This was to provide us with an additional revenue stream via our services to make up for losses incurred from dealing with Ninja Division. ...
Looks like Archon are in trouble financially and it would explain why the PM hasn't issued yet. I put $49 in for a Temple set should have learned from AVP no chance I'll be upping that now take 1 set and run (hopefully).

Glad I only put in 1$. Congrats to Ninja Division for sinking another mid-sized company and possibly causing a cascade that will affect more KS projects we're not aware of right now that Archon was subcontracting on.

Gangs of Nu Ork - Necromunda / Gorkamorka expansion supporting all faction. Feedback thread here.
Hmm that's annoying especially as Jarek (? I think it was him who answered) was asked specifically if the Ninja Division issues would effect them either just prior to the launch, or just after and he said it wouldn't effect them bar a slight slowdown on some projects
The BoW salute coverage shows some of the actual plastics, looks good, sad my budget wouldn't let me get this at the end of the day, but interested to see it at retail

I had a chance to look at some of the ramparts stuff in person today and it's pretty good,
as are the plastic minis for their own wargame. Custom 12 based which is a bit annoying but the dice are easy enough to read and use
no list building as such, instead you spend points each turn
(but of course what you can bring on is going to depend on what you've bought so what with unlimited budget could be a cool idea may be a bit of pay to win)
line of sight & movement based off a 'tool', the LoS aspect seems a bit clunky and open to argument but no more than most other LoS aspects
Were they only showing the cathedral parts or did they have any of the temple terrain on display as well? That's something we really don't have much a lot of options for.
I'm excited about there just being more plastic model options hitting the market.
Competition is always better for us as consumers in the long run.
Plus they've got scifi snakemen coming, so I'll be happy one way or another.
