Sisters payer here. Let's just say that I could stop all my heaters and reduce my heating bills!

I don't actually have my heaters turned on and I'm freezing though lol.

I would be so dead. Not only have I got about eight 40K armies, but three WHFB armies, three Runebound armies, two bolt action armies, two dust armies, Battletech & Mechwarrior: Dark Age collection, an X-Wing, SW Armada, SW minis (including Legion) and three scales Star Trek of Star Trek Minis and good chunk of GI Joe - including about 12 1/18 scale fighter jets and helicopters. Then there's also my D&D minis....

They could even set up an ambush for me consisting of D4's and my kid's Lego block collection...

It never ends well

Yeah.. I don't like my odds. Aside from the 2000 points of Custodes on my display shelf, the random few figures stashed in my closet, plus heresy era Magnus and Perturabo. I also have an NX class, (Mirror Universe even) and a Constitution class starship on display. Then there are all my gundam figures around the house... with some luck it'll be a painless blast from the ZZ's high mega cannon, and not the Barbatos Lupus wailing away with its mace sword.

Oh stop complaining, its for the greater good... Now get in the box!

In my uni room I think I'd be fine

I have half a company of Iron Hands in a heavy-ass draw and then a Necron Outrider that is currently bundled up in transport gear, so I think I'm good.

However...

The second I got home to my actual room, I'd loose my head to much dakka from my Imperial Knights, whcih are positioned on a 6'6" shelf. I'm a 5'10" bloke, so even with the fact they cant aim anywhere but straight ahead/down a bit, thats forehead level...

I might be a brit, but I dont think my skull's that thick honestly

EDIT: That is of course assuming my Doom scythes dont just kamikaze straight into my gut while I try climb the stairs. If those things are moving at actual speed I reckon they'd pierce skin...

I would be so dead in this scenario. On my shelf not to far from my bed right now is an Necron Monolith, an Imperial Knight, a Mutalith Vortex Beast, and a Lord of Change. The question isn't would I survive, but rather, what would kill me first. My money would be on the Monolith silently floating over and one shoting me with the Particle Whip, though the Lord of Change could give it a run for its money. That of course assuming the rest of my necron army doesn't just teleport out of there cases and make this real quick, Nephrekh for the win.

To those that say there is no stupid questions I say, "Is this a stupid question?"

Assuming the models both gained the necessary inner-workings for autonomous movement, and any equipped weapons worked as portrayed in their fiction...I wouldn’t even make it out the door. A reaver titan and 10-model knight House is visible from any point in my living room, which is immediate death there. Never mind the multiple Blood Angel companies, and motor pool. Then of course there’s a model of Xenosaga’s Kos-Mos, who could simply fire a phase transfer cannon, killing me, my house, and my planet immediately.

Hmm. 3 warlord titans touting 6 bellicosa volcano cannons, 4 reavers and 8 warhounds. Even scaled down I think those would kill me without too much trouble. If leman russ would knock pieces of wood imagine what volcano cannon straight to head would do

Nevermind 12k orks and 6k imperials from 40k.

I love this thread so much.

So most of my stuff is in storage but I do have my WIP Arbites army. They're in a plastic case though and don't have melta guns or power swords. They could try and break out using power mauls or grenade launchers but I'm sure they have good odds.

Thankfully I haven't assembled their LR Demolisher yet. Then I'm dead.

Wow, my shiny new Seraptek suddenly got a whole lot scarier. A very fast metal Spider the size of a chihuahua that dual wields oversized ray guns and likes to chop things to pieces? no thank you. That thing alone could kill me. Not to mention the buttload of wraiths and scarabs I own. The wraiths would just phase into me and slice me up from the inside.

Yup, I'd be in serious trouble.

Well I have a Topol in the other room, so if the Custode jet bikers or Onagers watching me don’t do it, the Russians can just launch a nuke into the ceiling.
The real ones pack 800kt warheads. Scaled to the model, that’s still 11; Little Boy was 15.
Heres a neat little tool I found. Estimated 5k+ fatal and 11.8k injured!

I have a Baneblade, Stormhammer and Macrocannon all with line of sight to my bed. Assuming I manage to survive that and get out of bed I have then got to contend with my massive Bolt Action armies, my 40K armies, my Skaven, Dwarves, Brettonians, Battletech company, Darkage armies and all my misc fantasy/scifi/modern/historical miniatures breaking out of their cases whilst the Brood beasts , Ghar and Infinity models fight a delaying action, backed by the might of a 1/35 scale MK IV Heavy tank..... And then if I escape I have my massive BFG fleet chasing me downstairs, along with Celestine, to where my Infinity remotes lurk in waiting at the shelves across from the bottom step.

Yup, I am very, very, dead. Oh, and my Stug also has line of sight across my entire room.
I think the only things that I would not fear are the Ship models - they are all Waterline so would probably not work.

I wonder how many 28mm tall warriors it'd take to kill/incapacitate a sleeping human. We're fairly fragile things and even a couple of well placed spears could cause us a lot of problems.

A smallish squad of goblins could do me in comfortably, even with primitive tech. The hardest part of the job for them would be getting out of the cabinet and up onto the bed.
