New "Cosmic Monster" revealed. This time it is not a hostile one. The Startropolis is a space station that belongs to every faction together.

Two more Space Monsters have been added to the game (with a room for 2 more, I think)

Just an FYI for those that are interested- all those alien civilians are around 28mm or so, which is perfect if you want them duking it out hand to hand with your figures and game of choice.

Sandy said they'll be either on 25mm or 40mm bases, depending on the race. Some civs will obviously be larger than others (Starspawn will be obviously bigger than some of the weirder stuff).

My son was wanting to use them to do a tabletop skirmish Away Team/ No Man's Sky style exploration. Anyone have any good planetary exploration skirmish games where you can fight the indigenous life?

Next monster revealed, a space birdie. One more monster left to be revealed, I think.

The final bonus Space Monster was revealed a few days ago: The Monolith. Now all 8 monsters are in the game.
The only thing left to be revealed is the Secret Civilization.

The final secret is revealed, the last civilization is Humans. They were kicked out from earth By Cthulhu and are now a nomadic, homeless race.

As I understand it, all of the alien citizens are 28mm scale (some are larger than others), so they would make great, erm, alien citizens for those scifi games (core space and other scifi skirmirshers...)

The space monsters are bigger than the citizens, so some of those would work for 28mm game as monsters too (maybe not the space station, but others).

My primary motive to be in this KS is to get the actual game, but I'm always looking for alternative uses for the models. I don't personally play any spaceship games, so I won't be using the spaceships in anything else but in Hyperspace, but those civilians might find a Place in other games too.

No, most likely it's not. Cthulhu Wars I backed almost a year after the KS when they opened their PM for late pledges for about the third or fourth time.
